Publisher's Summary

“Fascinating and powerful.” (Barbara Bialowas, co-director of the 365 Days trilogy, the Netflix romance sensation)

The USA Today international best seller Enthrall from romance author Vanessa Fewings.

Mia Lauren is a single 21-year-old working in a West Hollywood art store who dreams of one day becoming a fashion designer. When an unexpected offer arises to work at Enthrall, LA's premier fetish club for the wealthy, Mia accepts. It's a salary beyond her wildest imagination.

Mia becomes the secretary to the club's assistant director, blond and broody Richard Booth. Richard is not only one of LA's most beautiful and wealthiest men, he is also the club's senior dominant. Mia is both drawn and terrified when he reveals flashes of his white-hot passion, threatening an unbound pleasure like no other.

She knows her attraction may be her undoing, but the spellbinding feelings render her powerless to resist his advances. What Mia cannot know is that Enthrall's dashing director, 34-year-old Cameron Cole, who is also the club's psychiatrist, has lured Mia to save his best friend and patient Richard from his obsession with thrill seeking.

Cameron masterfully sets up sexy scenarios to ensure the collision of Richard and Mia, hoping that love will save him. However, despite Cameron's noble intentions, he also finds himself enticed by Mia's haunting innocence.

Passion and pleasure stir, forming a dangerous love triangle.

This is the world of the forbidden. This is the embrace of Enthrall.

Beautiful and “SPOILER ALERT”

I can never understand why people read about what a story is suppose to be about. Then when it’s in this genre is exactly what it says it’s going to be and sometimes even has a warning if these themes bother you don’t buy this book. They get on the reviews and proceed to rip the story apart.
First of all this is a fantasy story. It is FICTION. However yes, club or no club there is a bdsm lifestyle. If you’re going to go around saying that it’s abuse without trying to understand how IT IS NOT THAT AT ALL. Then perhaps these types of stories are not for you and you shouldn’t leave reviews.

The narrator should probably work on changing voices a little better. It was hard tho figure out who was talking in a few places. Other wise nice clear understandable voice. Which is very important too.

I would like to point out that while Cameron did manipulate the situation to get Mia in the building so to speak. Mia herself initiated the relationship with Richard after her first contact.

I love how the relationships developed and how bdsm help Richard rather than him doing it because he was mentally ill. I think Mia agreed with her eyes open. Finding her home and her guys . There is a beautiful love story wrapped in a sexual adventure wrapped in yet another layer of story, Mia’s other relationships and finding out that her father is alive. He’s also being a jerk.
I can’t wait to see what happens next!!!

I enjoyed this book. It wasn't what I thought it was going to be which is always a pleasant surprise. The beginning started out a little ehh for me because she is a 21 year old virgin working in a BDSM Club... a little to hokey for me but once the story took off I was "enthralled". The characters are all very unique and completely different from each other. Richard has a damaged heart, he is a Dom with a "I'm not good enough for you" attitude. Mia is a innocent girl being thrown into a world she really doesn't understand but she is very interested in none the less. Then there is Cameron, Richard's best friend, a sexy Dom & the Club's psychiatrist and he seems to be doing everything he can to push Richard & Mia together. I really can't wait to see where this story is going and will be jumping right into book 2.

The narration was a hard one for me because I love her voice but there are times when the way she says things it makes Mia seem like a complete brat with no brains, which is not the case. It's just the inflection the narrator used. It wasn't a huge thing and I was able get the correct impression from the authors writing. I really enjoyed her narration otherwise.

More than a 50 shadish book

As you are lead through innocent Mia's journey to work at Enthrall, you quickly see that there is a much bigger story than what's on the surface. I very much enjoyed the psychological aspect of this book and look forward to where it can go in Enthrall Her.

The narration was good but there were many times that there was no pause between characters switching and I was confused as to who was saying what. I feel like there is room to grow there.

A Breathtaking Story of True Passion

Where does Enthrall rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

The audiobook of Enthrall delivered a top notch performance of a genuinely moving novel. I enjoyed every minute.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Enthrall?

When Richard takes Mia to visit a Buddhist temple in Los Angeles. The moment demonstrates the balance the author pulls off between the physical and the psychological.

What does Abra Neville bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

There's a subtly and range to Abra Neville that goes beyond the expected competent reading of text. I really felt as though Mia was sharing her story directly with me. Abra Neville made the experience intimate and worth recommending. Mia came alive. Pure and simple.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The time spent in Napa Valley made me realize fully that this story wasn't just another erotic romance. It was an emotional, arousing journey.

Any additional comments?

The discovery of the audiobook of Enthrall was rewarding, and I'm thrilled that the author continues the story in additional novels. In addition, from what I've read online, Vanessa Fewings has novellas of this dynamic world in the works to add to the trilogy already available. What a pleasure! :)

OMG this is unbelievably dumb

I made it to chapter 13, but I can't take it anymore. The characters are unrealistic in the extreme, the pacing makes it hard to even try to find something to identify with. It reads like someone read a BDSM for Dummies book and thought they could write an erotica book. The performance is also flat and amplifies the bad writing.

Did not gain my interest.... or like the narrator.

Struggled to finish. Had a very difficult time connecting with the leading lady. Not sure if it is the narrator or the character development. The men in the story kept me interested and instilled a need to finish. Like Cole as an Alpha Dom.

A captivating story that will blow you away!

Enthrall was amazing and totally sucked me in! It was definitely not what I was expecting in the best way possible!
Twenty-one year old Mia Lauren gets employed as secretary to senior dominant, Richard Booth at Enthrall. She is instantly attracted to her new boss and his air of confidence, handsome good looks, and domineering ways. Mia is a strong woman but young, innocent, and naïve. She is quick to make friends at the club with her amiable personality and even earns the attention of some clients. Richard thinks she is not cut out for the job and decides to fire her, however with the help of the club psychiatrist, Cameron Cole and a friends suggestion, she takes drastic measures to get her job back. Cameron Cole has his own air of confidence, sexiness, and intensity. Mia is constantly being thrown into situations with him and in turn making Richard angry.
It is a constant, wild and mysterious ride throughout the book with some hot as hell scenes! I can't wait to find out more!! A definite must read!!!
However, really needed a male voice for Richard and Cameron!

Main female is stupid

The title says it all. She exhibited absolutely no common sense. The narrator gave female voices to male characters. Storyline was extended necessarily. I stopped and started often due to boredom.

Meh, it's alright

Pacing felt crazy to me and there wasn't enough naughty to make up for it. Not sure it's worth it to me to figure out the story line in the next books.

Waste of my time

This was horrible. Let me begin with the lead female characters voice. I guess it was supposed to be shy, innocent, and naive. I trie to get over it but stop several times to take a break from the voice. Then if that wasn’t bad enough the story line was a mess. I only finish tho book because I began and I can’t get that time back it’s just it was horrible the storyline was not believable it was a me just a mess mess so good luck if you are going to read this book you’re gonna need it

Tedious!

People have raved about this series and I really did try to like it, but I'm afraid that it is just a shadow of 50 SOG or Crossfire.

Once you get past the BDSM scenes which are very few, the story is pretty mindless.

The MC is boring and the FMC is an idiotic virgin. The only person who I felt at all captivated by was Cameron, the MCs partner in crime, but by and large as the saying goes "quite frankly I don't give a damn".... and I definitely won't be continuing with the series.

Unsure

A narrator goes a long way in giving life to the characters so the listener is immerse. Unfortunately the narrator for this book has the listener constantly bringing themselves out of the story to try work out who is talking and when there was character change. The difference between characters tone is far too similar and inconsistent for the listener to easily follow the conversation between characters.
This has made me wish for the fist time that I had read the book over listening to it.
I’m unsure how much I liked the book because of how it was portrayed in this format, mainly the main character. I can’t tell if I think she’s whiny because she was actually written that way or if the narrators tone has influenced my opinion.
