Best book I've listened to!

I've learned so much from this book. I'm truly greatful I found this. This book has changed the way I speak and my confidence to speak.

this is life-changing!

I really struggle to communicate and convey my ideas to my work colleagues for a simple fact that it has been difficult for me to utter the words. just after chapter 9, I have confidence in speaking because I now know the proper pronunciation of some common words. I know there are still alot of work to do. But it was a great first step. /θæŋk/ you!

Really good and complete book

This book is amazing. it's exactly what I was looking for.

It covers most of the American english pronunciation topics (maybe all of them but I'm not sure)

it also has several examples for each topic for you to practice. The narrator has a pretty clear voice and it's very easy to follow.

it's a book that you would have to listen again and again to learn all the topics discussed.

There is only one vowel sound that was not covered (or that I've missed), which is the vowel used in the word "father".

BEST of the BEST!!!

Do not hesitate to buy this book! After 30 years trying to understand my particular issues with English pronunciation and not being able to truly understand what I was doing wrong, I can finally say I get it now! And I already feel so much more confident and I ever did before!

Very detailed with tons of practice

This book is very long and detailed. I actually purchased two books. One, from a different author and it’s about 2 hours long with much less practice but covers mostly every sound. I listened to that one first. Then I started listening and practicing along with this book and found that the short book helped me to correctly pronounce the sounds that this book hasn’t gotten to yet. To each it’s own, I guess, I like the path I chose. I like how detailed it is with many different layers of practice and now after I listened to a shorter book, I don’t feel impatient to move onto to a different sound when I practice along. I definitely would recommend this book to any non native speaker.

It's a great audiobook! Just what I was looking for. Excellent performance and clear explanations.

This book is not recommended for non-English speakers.

I approached this book because I thought it was going to teach us a foreigner (Of course non-English speaking) to pronounce English well and speak it. but the author does not use repetition at all and talks too fast in fact the whole audiobook is like that. The speeches are totally fast and without giving you the opportunity to repeat the statements, the phrases or the dialogues.

I am a new student of English at an advanced intermediate level, it was very difficult for me the way the author uses the theme of this audiobook.

I do not recommend it at all for speakers who are not American or English, it seems as if the author is teaching her own people to speak to the Americans or the English, it is assumed that the Americans and the English have this language as their native language, so this audiobook is focused for them and not for us who are foreigners. So I don't know what the theme of this author will be teach them to speak the same language that they are supposed to speak from birth.
