Insightful

Required reading for my Emotional Intelligence class at the school of business. I wish more people would read this and work on increasing their EQ. Easy to understand and helpful.

Emotional Intelligence

Information in the audio book was good. The narrator was mind numbingly monotoned and could put a dead man further asleep. Though listen because of the narrator. I will avoid any other book narrated by him.

Very staccato.

Not sure if it was the writing or the narration. Sounds like reading a dictionary.

Makes On Think

The book was advertised as used and it is in perfect condition. I saw Steven Turner on Oprah and loved him, so I bought the book. The book is hard for me. I am still working on it.

Life Changing

Very good information, but at times hard to follow and a bit dull. Needed to 're-listen' to certain parts in order to absorb all of the information.

A particularly clear and deeper approach

Packed with some really good information. If you're a social scientist of ANY type you'll really enjoy this book and find it informative.

Value in Emotional Intelligence

Accurately and simply stated the importance of teaching how to handle emotions. Many just think life experiences will default the education, which it doesn't. Wish I read this book before my son became an adult.

The book is full of great information

I still have to listen to the audio and read the Kindle version. Emotional Intelligence does a better job of telling your success rate than the normal EQ. Going to take a class on this at work.

This book will change your life

I know that's the effect it had on me but becoming more aware of my lack of emotional intelligence has enabled me to finally confront my issues and get myself on the path of recovery and learning to empathize with others.

Irony

I find it somewhat ironc that the title and content of this book is contradicted by the narration which sounds suspiciously like it is being read by a computer programme, totally monotone and without character, feeling or empathy.

Content and message however is good and worth hearing if you can stay awake. Don't listen to when driving...
