A handful of freedom-loving governors and congressmen take a stand against the tyrannical administration by seceding from the Union. They represent an America that wishes to live in peace and live free. But that idea flies in the face of everything the dictatorial regime holds dear.

Ava's team cannot fail in its mission to liberate Texas. If Texas falls, America's demise is all but certain.

As with all audiobooks by Mark Goodwin, this audiobook contains no profanity and no embarrassing sex scenes. However, if you're offended by conservative principles and references to Scripture, this audiobook might not be for you.

interesting

Parts were slow, draw out and predictable; but the story over all was a true look at American's current civil unrest and what could happen.

Great follow up to the first book in the series!

Stacey Glemboski does a fantastic job reading this second book in the series and the storyline is excellent, just what I have come to expect from this author.

There are two things I didn't like about this book however; having to wait for it to come out after finishing book 1 in the series and now, I have to wait for the next book in the series to be published.....life as an audio book consumer just isn't fair!

I really enjoyed these novels. My only complaint is that they are way too short for the proce.

Excellent. Engaging hours of listening and feeling as though you could be right beside the characters. Worth every minute. Onto book three. Enjoy, learn, and give Thanks.
