Slow romance

Well written! The story is just slow to progress. He chases she, she resist until the last possible moment and then the storynis over. i do like the found family love!

She saves him & they both need dates.

What I’m Starry-Eyed Over:
🤩 Gorgeously narrated in DUET by Stella Hunter & Teddy Hamilton—they have swoon voices and fabulously bring out the personalities and emotions! You know you need to hear Teddy say “Don’t worry, angel. I ache for you, too.”
🤩 Captivating from the ambulance ride start! 🚑
🤩 Angelica is an EMT & Jude is the CEO of a major department store.
🤩 They are both in need of a date!!
🤩 Angelica’s chocolate mints—yum!
🤩 When he starts calling her angel—the timing is so good!
🤩 He takes care of her when she’s sick.
🤩 And, in more ways when she’s healthy. “Tell me. Did the narrator of your book say I want to kiss you everywhere?”
🤩 When the “Does this feel fake?” gives me such big feelings of longing.
🤩 Their dates are fabulous! So much steamy but intimate fun!
🤩 Oh my hotness! The cute “she wears his jersey” moment turns steamy with a “Leave it on” and “My good girl wants the naughty list,” he continues. “And she wants it with me.”
🤩 So much tenderness. “Don’t you leave me, Jude.” And, “You won’t give up hoping for me, will you?”
🤩 When you’re laughing and ten seconds later bawling—that’s good storytelling!

What I’m Wishing/Dizzy About:
💫 I haven’t gotten word about a new holiday romcom coming from L. B. Dunbar, but I’ve loved four others from her!

Such an amazing book and duet narration!

This was the fourth book I read by L.B. Dunbar (the fourth in this series) and it was beyond amazing! Every book in this series was great but I think this was my favorite. I am soo happy Jude got a book. When we met him in a previous book in this series he was such a jerk. I loved that we got to see his redemption in this book and learn about his sad past. I loved the way L.B. Dunbar wrote this story! Jude was lonely misunderstood and a grinch and Angelica didnt know how lonely she was until she met Jude. This book was low angst and it had an amazing ending!
The audiobook was great! Teddy Hamilton and Stella Hunter did a great job bringing this story to life. This was a duet narration which I absolutely loved! I will definitely be reading more books by this author! I cant wait to start one of her other series! I hope she writes a 5th holiday hotties book!

Duet Narration w/ Incredible Narrators

Thank you to the author for a great story and incredible narrators. I will look for more books by this author. Happy Holidays ✔️✔️. Except, how can the author make the female narrator sound so ridiculous or like an airhead. I mean, allowing Judd to fill her up and soothe her when she’s ill and act like it’s fake. Utterly ridiculous.

L B Dunbar always does a good job. Fun book with overlapping characters. Worth the listen.
