Almost a full blown C.Feehan book!!

This book has 3 different stories all very good but I bought the book for the Christine Feehan story. Like all of the others I thought this was going to be a short 3-4 hour story. Nope, this was almost a full blown book, I listened at work and it lasted almost my entire work day.
Now… the book was great I highly recommend. The other two authors have a great start to some new series and I will be keeping an eye out for future books.

Narration was fine, no issues from me.

opens the next big set of plot twists.

If you could sum up Edge of Darkness in three words, what would they be?

exiting intriguing and dangerous

What other book might you compare Edge of Darkness to and why?

any of the other dark books or the drake sisters books also by Christine Feehan

What about the narrators’s performance did you like?

max bellarman dose a nice job and is easy to listen to. dose not easily trip over pronunciation as happened with miss brush in the shorter version of Darkk Prince.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

you will laugh some people may cry..

Any additional comments?

you may be missing background details later in the story line if you have not read this book. it may have some up coming need to know names in it.

Feehan does it again

Feehan writes another brilliant story, she has a way with words. So sexy & a little erotic, just loved it. First time I've heard/read Herter, will look for her again, very sensual story.

not bad for an anthology 3 star average

I have listened to worse. there was an all most full story from the Carpathian Series from C Feehan. other than the narrator strained too hard with a.voice of an ancient,. it wasn't bad for a shorter story. we are always searching for the 5 star book. The other stories are OK but easily forgettable. To be fair I don't care for antholigies. By the time you get invested it's all over. it was on sale. so I tried it.

A little too far

Christine Feehan goes a little too far with dominance in her lovemaking scenes but I know this. She needs more story and less of licking and sucking.

great stories

Ok I have read only 2 if the authors here in this book the third one I am saving for when I am done with the books I have commitments to . I adore Christine Feehan and love everyone of her books so I was jumping up and down when this book came out . It gave me the stories I craved and the vamps I love. Story 1 is with Christine Feehan=Dark Crime . I was sitting on the edge of my seat .Starting this book I was so happy to see a strong woman here in the states I was so glad that this book was here in the states and not in the Carpathian mountains . The story line was amazing and I cant wait for the next book . Dark Crime by Christine Feehan Blaze knows who killed her father and she has merciless plans for payback. Until a phone call from a seductive stranger pleads with her to wait. Retribution is in his blood, too. Now, he and Blaze will be united in the blood of the guilty. Tonight, vengeance is theirs. In book 2 we have the great Maggie Shayne= woohoo with Dead by Twilight. I was so glad this book came I had been waiting for it for a while and it is so worth the wait. Madison who didnt want to be what she was and had been hiding in plain sight. Until she meets her chosen. I loved the story line it was quite refreshing to have someone who is willing to put forth the effort to be everything she is not and then have to be what she is to save the one she loves . Well Maybe refreshing is not the right word but it is the one I'm useing . I was also glad to see Rhiannon make a cameo in the end. Dead by Twilight by Maggie Shayne Bloodsuckers may be an accepted minority but one of them is getting away with murder. Until a female vamp teams with a mortal detective to end the killing spree. Now the night belongs to them—and so does every pleasure and danger lurking in the shadows. I have not yet read the last story in this book but when I do I will finish my review with her story...

Not my carpathian’s

Did not like the last two stories, they don’t work into the whole Carpathian book series and I hope I never come across that again. The performance of the narrator’s was great but when I pick up a dark novel from the Carpathian series you think that all the stories in the book your pick up will be about Carpathians not Rando vampires.

3 Stories

Are usually like the books written by this author I don’t know if it was the voice of the narrator or what it was kind of creepy and didn’t sound sexy at all he read the rest of the parts OK Then of course I didn’t know there was two other stories to it I liked the two other stories that were written it was a nice surprise especially the last one So up to you usually the author writes exciting parts so I couldn’t tell you if it was the way the main character read his part or if it was the story not sure course then again everybody has different taste in voices
