Publisher's summary

Duty Calls continues the story of Nic, Mal, Jazz, and Jade as they fight to hold what belongs to them. The Corporations are becoming more aggressive in their effort to steal their inventions. Our four friends are matching the corporate's aggression blow for blow. The fight has already turned deadly, and the Corporation has shown they aren't afraid to spill blood. Nic has shown restraint, but the gloves are about to come off. They've gone after his family, and that's the one thing he will not tolerate.

Awesome sequel can’t wait for the next book

This book is an excellent continuation of the first book in the series. I can’t wait for the next one.

I recommend this book/series/ author to fans of Kevin Steverson and Chris Kennedy and their series. This story and these 3 authors are excellent.

good story

I'm enjoying the trilogy. it is very optimistic, which I really enjoy. it stands apart from most modern sci Fi in that regard. looking forward to seeing where the story goes!

ok, one issue, there's about 30 ships and characters that are referenced and it can be hard to track them. fortunately a bunch of the unimportant ships got Generic Name # treatment, but tracking them is a bit brutal

I really enjoy this series

Despite the overuse and focus on the 'family' theme making me chuckle because I expect Dominic Torretto to show up, I quite enjoy this series.

Everything seems to come a little too easily to the two geniuses, and the way they outmaneuver their enemies is a bit too... simple and unimaginative, but stories don't always need to be filled with tension and suspense for me to enjoy them.

Sometimes I like a rags to riches story where the protagonists are highly competent and mostly 'stomp' their opposition. It's an easy, if not entirely memorable listen.
