Publisher's summary

Dude, Bro is a humorous guide to surviving college written by comedian Bread Foster. Dude, Bro will provide articles, episodes, and truth (under the guise of guidance) about college life, mixed with honest stories from a mildly psychotic student. After extensive discussions with fellow college students who were part of his college experience, the most frequently uttered phrase was, "How did we survive that?" and Bread wants to teach future bros how.

Dude, Bro will allow the listener to get a moral out of a story where morals are neither black nor white. The objective is to provide an honest experience from a lower-middle class author who went crazy at a state university. Dude, Bro will have a sense of humor because college itself is kind of a joke.

Actually Funny.

A lot of books written by comedians aren’t actually engaging or overly funny. What works on stage doesn’t always translate well to books. Dude, Bro is well written, surprisingly thoughtful and actually really funny. It’s Superbad meets Animal House, it’s what the last 3 seasons of Community should have been. It makes me both glad and sad that I never went to college. Can’t wait for Bread Fosters next book.

Funny

I know this author. I lived (and partied) on the same floor of Alice Paul with him. I'm the "Siberian in a Boondock Saints" t-shirt that's briefly mentioned. Ha! This book made me feel nostalgic for college years. It's hilarious and surprisingly insightful. I'm sad to say, after reading this, I realize that I didn't really know Bread. I had no idea about these deep thoughts and conclusions that were happening in his head. But that's how we all are at that age, I guess.
