I said it after reading the first book, and I’ll say it again now — the world is sleeping on this stunning series. The writing, the characters, the story, the pacing, the magic, the creatures — it’s all top notch. Why are you not reading this?!

Stellar story full of exiting twists and plots!
I thoroughly enjoyed this series. It’s not often that you find a book where you’re trying to figure it out and enjoying the details along the way, not wanting to rush it to know the answer and savoring everything. This author’s use of descriptive language is phenomenal. I wish there were four more books in this series. The narrator was one of the best I’ve heard in a long time. Accents, voice differentiation, passion. It’s all there. If you like fantasy, war, romance, who-done-it reads with magic sprinkled all throughout, you’ll love this book and the series!
