Amazing twist

Loved. Loved loved. It’s something you really have to pay attention to and it’s so worth the twisted ending.

One of my favorite books!

I can’t wait for book 2. I loved the voice actor for Killian. This is one of the books I reread at least once a year so it’s convenient that there is a audiobook

LOVE the narrators. Really capture the essence of Snow and Kill. Can’t wait for the next one!

So excited for the audio book!

I’ve read the series at least three times through. I’m absolutely in love with all of the characters and the story. I’m thankful that Wendy has done some re-editing since the original release too.

The narrators did a great job. Sometimes Maeve can be a little abrupt in her reading. There’s a lack of flow. And sometimes the voices for male characters is a little rough. But overall I’m still very happy. Gregory was a perfect choice for Kilian. Love! Five stars. Can’t wait for the next one to be on audio.

Excellent Story and Progression

I really enjoyed this book because of the intelligent and thoughtful FMC. Unlike other titles she is very cunning and does not whine about random petty things and instead plots her revenge. The character development and character backgrounds are interesting and substantial. All in all great book. Looking forward to more!

book was good, not the audio

the book was good, but the narrator reading it was hard to listen to. Narrator made it sound like it was a chore she couldn't wait to be done with - it was awful and I had to stop listening and read instead.

don't sleep on this one

this book is a little long winded, the fmc is extremely mouthy but for good reason..and is different than the usually sassy fmc you find in romantasy.
there is a lack of spice in this book, but I did read that in the next books there is considerably more, this book is extremely slow burn.
It is also very political. if you want a plot heavy, many moving parts with big reveals (some much more obvious than others) then definitely look this one up.
the narrators are excellent other than they actually say "sigh" instead of sighing...that stood out to me and made me laugh.
this book does drag at the end but the ending makes you want to get the 2nd book immediately which I will do now. this series is a completes series with 2 spin offs I believe.
if you're someone who has devoured a lot of romantasy, and is looking for something heavier I suggest this one. it's not the most poetic but it is definitely different than the normal books you can get off of KU.

This book and this series is my favorite! The banter is by far the best I’ve read and the story is just chefs kiss.
What ever you do, please read this!

Absolutely captivating

I have been obsessed with the blue fairytales by Wendy, and I am now obsessed with this series. Starting the next immediately. The plot, characters, secrets, and audio were perfect.
