Love this one!

This book took me through it. I think it is the story of many young women and a testament of how the system fails Black women.

Absolutely Wonderful

This book gives all the feels; anger, sadness, joy, hopefulness, vindication. The abuse the MFC suffered was heartbreaking. The love and patience the MMC had for her so sweet. Author Kimberly Brown did an amazing job penning this book. The narrators did a wonderful job as well. Highly recommend!!

Amazing story💯

I will say, this story will take you through the emotional roller coaster. I loved the narrators, they were perfect. They story took care with the sensitive subject matter.

I wanted to understand her mother's backstory to try and figure her out but I am not sure there is anything she can say to excuse behavior. I just have a hard time believing people are that heartless but the world is full of them.

This story is definitely a Heavy one, if You are a victim of SA or know someone please be aware of the trigger warnings. Although this story is heavy it's equally beautiful. I am so glad Justice prevailed on everyone's behalf. I will NEVER understand a mother being jealous of a child even tho I can fully empathize. Good job Kimberly 💕

Interesting Storyline

I really enjoyed this book! The storyline is different from what I regularly read. The book was refreshing and engaging. Great plot and narration.
