But Basch has more enemies than most, given his special gifts. There are those who would seek to use his dragon for evil, and others who see Basch as a threat to the status quo.

If Basch and the Ur-Dragon are to survive, they will have to grow together in power, acquiring new draconic forms, elemental powers, and ways of manipulating the very fabric of magic.

One dragon to rule them all. Lord of the rings?

One dragon to rule them all. Kind of like the One Ring to Rule them all from The Lord of the Rings. Staircases move and shift. Harry Potter. A dragon that is suspiciously acts like toothless in How to Train your Dragon. I'm surprised that nobody's called them out on this. The story could be better but they should be more original. Then to, shall I say, plagiarize other stories. It's not a bad story if you take out all the stuff from other books.

Great audiobook

This was a great audiobook. Great story can’t wait for the next one and the series. I love this author.

I haven't finished the book yet. Actually only on chapter 2 but the story is already interesting.

The narration, its awful....why is he talking like this? This is a book...not an infomercial or action movie advertisement. I don't know if I can continue. The narration is giving me anxiety.

This book has potential

what I didn't like about it is there isn't many details and a lot is missed. also the narrator makes the main character to be whiny. also it's a mix of Harry Potter and how to train Your dragon
