A Woman on a Mission

Grace Clark has always done things safely. She's never colored outside of the law, but she has a book due and has found the perfect spot to break through her writer's block. Or so she thinks. Right up until Arian suddenly appears and tries to force her away from the mountain. Unaware of the war she just stumbled into, Grace doesn't just discover the perfect place to write, she finds Arian - the most gorgeous, enticing, mysterious man she's ever met.

A King with a Purpose

Arian is a Dragon King who has slept away centuries in his cave. Recently woken, he's about to leave his mountain to join his brethren in a war when he's alerted that someone has crossed onto Dreagan. He's ready to fight...until he sees the woman. She's innocent and mortal - and she sets his blood aflame. He recognizes the danger approaching her just as the dragon within him demands he claim her for his own....

Narrator HUGE disappointment .

If I didn't love the series I would not have finished this one . The narrator was just awful. Bring back Anthony!

Almost quit

I absolutely love these books but I almost quit this one and probably would have if it weren't so short because of the performance. I think the narrator is likely a very good matador but not for these books. Her interpretation of Grace made her sound whiny and nasaly. The Scottish accent was very unbelievable and almost sounded Russian.

The story on the other hand was good.

Awful Narrator

I love Donna Grant books, I was so happy to download 1001 Dark Nights to listen while I work until I heard the narrator's voice! I couldn't take it... I stopped listening. I'll have to read it on my kindle Fire. Whoever is in charge of picking the narrator for her books PLEASE go back to Anthony Ferguson. Check out Dave Gillies, he has a nice voice.

Great story, didn't like the performance.

Great story, but hate the male voices. Men's voices sound Russian not Scottish at all.

Narrator ruined Characters for me

Any additional comments?

The narrator completely ruined the characters for me. Grace always sounded like a "dumb blonde" and a whiny b*tch who couldn't figure out what her fake accent was supposed to be. and Arian sounded like an old Scottish man and was just hard to listen to overall.
I have followed the entire series so far and loved the other books but this one was SUPER hard to get through.

Narrator isn't very good

Story was alright. Narrator kind of ruined it. Probably won't listen to more. Prefer the books.

Need Original Narrator

I was Very Disappointed with this New Female Narrator... She just did not have the right Flow for this.

Why change narrators?

I love this series so much, but the narrator made this one hard to finish.

bad narrator!

As a Scot I have heard many different attempts at a Scottish accent but this has to be the worst ever!!! this female narrator just demolishes what is a good story with her dismal attempts at trying to be a Scottish male. The story is not the best in the series but it is a decent one, so I managed to listen to the full story but never again! I have heard some half decent female narrators that can do male voices but Terry is not one of those. Please stick with Antony for the series, while he can lack emotions on occasions he at least can do a half decent Scottish accent!
