On a moonless night, two rats follow hypnotic lights into the forest, never to be seen again. Such is the power of the Doomwytes, sinister ravens led by the deadly Korvus Skurr. Bisky and his fellow Redwallers must summon all their courage to face the evil horde of slithering snakes and vicious ravens. Some great songs, and perfect voice acting. Another story worthy of Redwall with feasts, battle, life, death, treasure, love, monsters, riddles, and no loose ends.

It is just as good as you can remember it, from when you were a kid yourself.

I have listened to every Redwall book available on audible with the exception of The Sable Queen. This is the first performance that I am giving less than 5 stars. The volume of the voices in this performance changes randomly throughout the book. Not a huge issue, but I am still slightly disappointed.
I will continue to recommend these books as they are all amazing!!!

Always an enjoyable cast recording, and the storyline varies from other books in the series, which I loved. The sound became softer and louder throughout the recording making it hard to hear.

A book well worth one's enjoyment. It has been the perfect beach book to hear behind the surf and breeze.

Brian Jacques will always be the greatest,
I honestly can’t think of one of his Redwall books that I haven’t enjoyed. They all will maintain a special place in my heart, and the full cast narrations will always be extra special, like time capsules of seasons long gone.
This book in particular is good for anyone who’d like to hear a bit more of the tales of the infamous Prince of Mousethieves
