Love the characters

Loved everything about this book. Can’t wait for another one love the characters and the plotline.

i swallowed thickly

Definitely not bad! I’m a huge fan of Eden / Elle Mae but I wasn’t enamored by the writing in this one. Story was pretty good, and the first half of the book was about 4 stars. However i found the narrator to be lacking; rushing and sometimes a bit robotic.

A great story but the writing took away from the experience.

I really wanted to love this book. The idea was amazing—the age gap, the tension, the action, and some truly emotional moments that hit hard. One scene in particular made me cry because it captured a feeling I deeply relate to: the longing for a different life, for things to have turned out better. The action was abrupt but engaging, and some of the intimate scenes had potential.

However, the writing itself really took away from the experience. There were constant interruptions in the middle of dialogue or action for unnecessary details, making it hard to stay engaged. At the same time, important plot points weren’t explained properly, leaving gaps in the story. The relationship between the main characters had moments of intensity, but the emotional connection wasn’t fully developed—it often felt like physical attraction was the main focus.

This has one of the best female narrator

Absolutely obsessed with the narration of this book. I listened to it in one sitting. Some parts really got me touching grass outside. So so hot 🥵
