Another winner!

I'm fairlly new to this author but I'm thoroughly impressed! I enjoyed every minute of this book. Excellent character development, in my opinion. I can't wait for the next installment!

Alison Brennan’s best series yet! 100%

So well written, such good character development with a very interesting story line that adds twists and turns at every corner. A Complicated mystery but not confusing. A tiny bit of hopeful romance with a good family background to it. The overall BEST series yet! Can’t wait for the Next one, yes please!

Allison Brennan does it again

I loved that this took place in Phoenix, Arizona, which is where I am from. I was familiar with a number of the places mentioned in this book, which made the whole thing a lot more exciting. I did figure out some it, but I enjoyed knowing I was right. The narrator, once again, was excellent as she also narrated the first book. i look forward to the third installment of Margot Angelheart.

Not All Voices Used Were Annoying --Just the Kids

First (and foremost), let me say that the story was great and engaging. The majority of the narration was quite good and added to the enjoyment of the book BUT ONLY at 1.2 or 1.3 speed.

Head's up/ warning: The narrator's whining stereotypical surfer voice used for the teenagers was VERY annoying. If I played it at regular speed (1.0), it progressed so slowly that I felt I could recite the words as I heard them coming from my headphones AND more of the voices she used for characters sounded whiny. That grates on me, but it became more acceptable at faster speeds.

Bottom line is I wouldn't have stuck with it if the story wasn't good. I would listen to Book 3 if it became available... at 1.2+ speed of course!
