Only Mark Boyett could make this series starter I, Starship better!

I, Starship' is a great adventure that raised some valid concerns for me about AI, multi-generational space travel, and dealing with threats from unknown entities (or beings?). Writer Scott Bartlett has authored an impressive library of space adventure books. He is able to tell a story in such a way that you come away from it, feeling you actually spent time with the characters. In 'I, Starship' - I, Reader, imagined how difficult it would be if an AI did possess human consciousness. How strong would the desire be for human interaction?
I have read many of Scott Bartlett's books and have never been disappointed. I believe this will be another great series with a lot of twists.
And, now Scott has enlisted the great Mark Boyett to add his talent to this excellent adventure. You will not be disappointed. -Mr.Bill

Great story

Love the characters, can't wait for the next one to see what happens. The narrator is great too!

An excellent beginning

An excellent beginning to a new series. Now that we have some background on Eve and the town, I'm looking forward to some mystery.

I loved every single moment of this book

Intriguing and good story line

Lots of moving story lines. Complex characters that are intertwined. Guilty party was not obvious and was surprising.

Good story.

The narrator was great with the different characters except for the main character Eve.
Perhaps that was the way the author wanted Eve to be depicted, however it was extremely irritating the way she made Eve sound. I fast forwarded through some of Eve’s dialogue because she sounded so ridiculous.

Monotone Narration

Story was slow, but the poor narration made it almost impossible to follow. Some emotion, variation in tone, anything to convey characters personalities would have been greatly appreciated.

Th story was good, but the voice of the narrator was do distractingly annoying . Would love to listen to the rest of the series but just can’t get past the narrator.

Strong female roles

There is a lot going on in the plot and Elle makes it very easy to follow.
