Good read

Once again, Klavan made realistic characters in a gritty situation. The only thing missing is the "E"s in "Klavan."

Unique Thriller

really enjoyed this thriller, definite tension build. great dialogue, some good chuckes to break the tension. excellent character build up. loved it!

Yeesh. Good story. But..

The graphic description of the sexual excitement with pedophilia and murder almost made me stop. I don’t know if any of us should let those images exist in our minds

Having discovered Klavan’s podcast in 2022, I searched back to find some of his earlier novels and chose this one. The writing is riveting and I must add that the performance of the narrator absolutely brought this text to life. Excellent performance!
