Publisher's Summary

It’s not every day the woman who broke your heart asks to be your wife.

Life is good. I’m single. I’m an emergency room doctor. And according to my hookups, I’m hot AF. Then she walks back into my life.

I haven’t seen Mazzy Pembrooke since the night she betrayed me. So when she comes into my work asking me to make good on a childhood pact and marry her, I’m speechless. She’s the last woman I’d want to marry - even if it’s pretend and with a definitive end date.

But after I find myself in a sticky situation at work, marrying Mazzy might just benefit me, too.

Once we’re living as husband and wife under the same roof, though, I struggle to remember that I hate this woman, and the fake marriage doesn’t feel so fake anymore.

Don’t Mind if “I Do” is a fake-marriage, friends-to-enemies-to-lovers rom-com loaded with laughs. No cheating. HEA. Buy now.

Sweet!

I enjoyed this book. Nick and Mazzy were meant for each other and watching them come together as a couple was heartwarming. I liked the characters from the start. The narration was, of course, the best. This is an easy, no angst book with a bit of sex. Well worth the credit.

This book made me angry and sad.

K. SUCH a huge deal is made over a past event that really was not all that horrible. And, Nick whines about and rejects a woman who had good reason to be completely over him. Sorry, too high school soap opera for me.

Great Story!

This is my first book by Everly Ashton and I loved her style of writing and how she was able to bring two childhoods friend together after the years they were a part over her betrayal. Dr Ryan was unable to forgive Mazzy for letting his brother kiss her. Situations arise and she come to him for help & a marriage.
The narrators were perfect for this story.

Absolutely loved every minute❤

This was a very light hearted read. I enjoyed every minute of the jokes the light drama. This story had me all in my feels and the narration wasn't bad either. Glad I got this one.

I love these narrators together!

This book is a fun mixture of a second chance romance and friends to lovers. Even though the history between Mazzy and Nick isn’t ideal there’s no one else Mazzy can turn to to play her fake husband. After all, he did promise to marry her back when they were kids;)

No Complaints

Friends to enemies to lovers and 2nd chance all rolled into one. Narration is perfection when Teddy Hamiliton and Ava Erickson are together in a book. Good story with some humor sprinkled throughout.

great second chance

I loved how easy this book was to listen to the angst in the beginning with the male lead was a slight bit annoying but the main women character was a bit clueless and weak which I found very annoying. I think of myself as a strong independent woman and I realise that their are all sorts of people that make the world up so I could accept the woman.
as a whole I really enjoyed this book not a best read of 2021 or anything profound it was a nice easy rom- com. (just what the doctor ordered 😉😂) ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A little disappointed

I was looking for a romcom and liked the premise of old friends marrying by contract. I was therefore surprised and a little disappointed to find lascivious content in what I feel are tacky cliches; male with ripped body, bulging biceps, tight tops stretching across his pecs.... I roll my eyes. Really! It is not about being a prude, none of it was shocking, but objectifying a person whether male or female just... felt cheap. I kept going as I had spent my monthly credit on it and finally got to the part that I was hoping for - a real friendship re-emerging. That was really sweet and made the chemistry more believable. That is when I could get invested in the characters. At least it saved it from becoming a 2 star in my eyes.
