An unabridged reading of Ben Aaronovitch's novelisation of his classic 1988 TV adventure featuring the Seventh Doctor.

With unfinished business to attend to, the Doctor takes Ace to Coal Hill School in London, 1963. The last time he was there, he left something behind--a powerful Time Lord artefact that could unlock the secrets of time travel.

Can the Doctor retrieve the Hand of Omega before two rival factions of Daleks track it down? And even if he can, how will he prevent the whole of London from becoming a war zone as the Daleks meet in an explosive confrontation?

I loved this tv serial and the novelization based on it as a kid. The audio is very good to. The novelization gave more information, and better character depth that was not shown on tv. Also the special effects that did not come out well in serial, come out better in word form. Terry Malory does a good job as narrator, he was always great as Davros, but I'm afraid he doesn't do a great job impersonating Sylvester Mccoy. The Seventh Doctor and Ace will always be one of my favorite teams. I hope they do more audios of their adventures.
