Publisher's summary

Eighteen-year-old Morrigan has always felt different, like she didn't belong in small-town Oklahoma where she grew up. But on an outing with her friends to the deep, gem-filled Alabaster caves, Morrigan discovers that she's much more than just different, she's magical.

When she learns the dark truth about her ancestry from her grandparents, a devastating accident transports grief-stricken Morrigan to Partholon and into the keep of the Sidetha, where she is regarded as the Light Bringer, the Goddess Adsagsona's Chosen One. Luckily for her, many strangely familiar priestesses and otherworldly beings are there to offer her guidance in her new world, including a brazen, handsome centaur High Shaman named Kegan.

As she tries to make sense of the powers swirling inside her - and confront her growing feelings for Kegan - she must fight against the lurking darkness that threatens to permeate her very soul.

The book was EH....

I loved the first two book however I was very disappointed in this one. After all that Shannon and ClanFinntan went thru to save their world and protect their baby, to only have her born to die and make way for Rianon's daughter was just dumb. The story was more of a placeholder and not so much its own book to add more to the story. Its a filler book.

Narrator was good, but the story was just not there for me. Better luck next time? Ehh.
We will see.

So Disappointed

SPOILERS!!!!
I wanted closure to Shannon and Clinfenton story, what I got was Rhiannons redemption and her child Morrigan journey. I honestly just didn't understand why I should care what happened with her. I wanted to see Shannon daughter flourish and grow. Epona instead killed Shannon's daughter caused her grief and pain and pretty much made sure Rhiannons daughter got the gift while Shannon's daughter was shafted. Epona made sure the Morrigan got to live and keep her love, while all Shannon did for Epona and her people, gave up her family and dedicated herself to Epona got her was a goddess who decided that her efforts was worth her childs death. Honestly I could have done without this book. I was going to listen to House of Night next but after hearing this I'm gonna pass.
