Publisher's summary

Choose your power. Grow your family. Slay a goddess.

Pryvet came to this land seeking power untold, and he just didn't expect there to be strings attached. Now, he must bed as many beauties as he can, or his life itself will be forfeit. Still, it doesn't hurt that his power grows with each new wife he adds to his growing family.

Nothing will stop him in his quest for revenge. Not battle elves, not an entire army of Valkyrie soldiers, not even the deadly world forest itself. Because he must succeed—for himself and for the women who love him.

It's time to win a war.

Confused Narration

The performer narrated between accents in Midwestern American and Central Latino for rendition of a messy audible confusion. Why? It's a mystery to me and it weakens the book. Jerome Hamilton

Lol

The story is fun, and interesting. It has a fairly unique premise and world. The debts were a interesting idea. While this was fairly vanilla it (not that I mind it), it had a fun if not rushed progression to the end.
The ending though. That. That made me laugh. My only problem (not really a problem), was that our stoic hero didn't end up with a ridiculously large harem of Valkyries. That would have been the bj on top of a great icecream sundae
8/10 would recommend.

Disappointed 😞

I did finish the series. The author laid out a interesting and good story, then almost completely deviated and went off on a tangent that never came full circle. The original quest was simply ignored. I could say so much more but it would be spoilers. I had extra unused credits, so no great loss, but if you are really interested in a good story, that stays true, with the harem elements, this isn't it.

Overall meh.

So far im giving it a shot. I dont much care for the main characters voice/accent. The narrator sounds just fine. I just wish the narrator kept the same voice for the main character. Also all the women sound too similar to tell whos speaking.

Okay harem novel

Would have been much better but Erin’s voice was nails on a chalkboard. She used a forced accent so hard and bad, that I no longer have a thing for Fran Drescher or French accents.

What’s with that ending? 30 maidens turn into 8.

Okay before I talk about the ending, let me about the narrators and the series. Ok the male narrator irritated the F$&@ out of me in the first book. Narrators should not have a lisp. Everyone talked about how the female narrator had bad acting skills or her range of voices was narrow, but I didn’t see that. The first two books ran smooth they drew in your attention and things kind of build on each other I liked how he had a goal in the beginning of wanting to kill his families murderer, but he never finished that goal.. The third book just went on and on didn’t have very much substance. I found myself drowning out as things went on and when I came back into the story, I didn’t miss anything. It’s like when you watch an anime series and after season one and two, they put a fill in that everyone hates that’s book 3. And that ending it made no sense whatsoever. I understand it’s a harem series with no fade to black, but the ending. I cannot say this enough WTF is that ending. Either he was rushed writing this or he gave up. I will say it made me laugh because I couldn’t believe that that was the ending that he came up with. I mean I knew that the end boss was actually not bad from the very end of book 2. And with a harem book like this you already know any major female rolls will end up in the harem even the final boss. But how he defeated her was sad, wired, confusing, and laughable. But I will say I never seen I coming. Beyond that it was a good series.
