Solid book. I didnt see the ending coming
This is a solid read, very entertaining and I thought I was way ahead on the story and i wasn't even close to correct. Loved the two narrators, did an excellent job.

What starts out as a rather simple but engaging story ends up having more twists and turns than a mountain road. You will find yourself wanting to turn the pages faster as the story progresses so that you can answer questions that are generated in your mind while you read.

The truth of it
As frustrating as it was sometimes, I loved the slow - and painful - revelation of the truth. The emotional logic behind the characters’ behaviors and motivations was flawless.

Is there anything you would change about this book?
Needs a more compelling plot.
Would you be willing to try another book from Renée Knight? Why or why not?
No. The plot has not too much suspense--it reveals itself at every step, I only continued with it to find out if the author had come up with an unexpected twist. But she did not.
Have you listened to any of Michael Pennington and Laura Paton ’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
