Dirty Curve

Dirty Curve is a new standalone featuring Tobias and Meyer. This book is told from dual points of view.

Tobias is the popular baseball pitcher at their school. He is having trouble with some of his grades and Meyer is the sports tutor. Tobias is cocky at first and demands Meyer to show up when he wants. Meyer has something else going on in her life, and Tobias doesn't realize it.

Once Tobias gets to know Meyer he realizes not everything is as it seems. They start to have feelings for each other but she has secrets.

What happens when he finds out these secrets? Can Meyer and Tobias get their happily ever after or will the secret tear them apart for good?

I loved this book and devoured every minute of it. When the secrets were revealed I was shocked. It was not what I was expecting!

Dirty Curve

Holy…. Wow. I don’t normally say a book is a top read for me in a year, but I’m pretty sure this one is going to make me. I had heard a lot of good things about this book and for once it lived up to those. Meyer and Tobias ripped my heart apart then put it back together again. Meyer is a tutor with a ton of secrets, and Tobias is the hotshot pitcher who everyone thinks they know. I don’t want to give anything away because every part of this book was just amazing. If this is what all of Meagan Brandy’s books are like, sign me up.

Meagan never disappoints!

Yet ANOTHER amazing story. Tobias is everything! The ONLY thing that could have been better is if the narration was duet style. It feels so much more immersive that way, but the narrators were still GREAT!

What an amazing book!! This was my first book by this author. I found it by the rabbit hole of BookTok, am I ever glad I did! I thought one thing while listening to this whole book but then so many curve balls came at me with a very different outcome. It was fantastic! Lee Samuels and Savannah Peachwood brought Tobias and Meyer to life. He’s the cocky hot jock and she’s the nerdy tutor. He can’t figure out why she won’t look at him. She wants nothing to do with him. However his grades aren’t good and he needs help and she’s the best and coach wants his star player to play. You feel Meyer’s struggle throughout this book but you have no clue what she’s really going through till later on. She’s an amazing person just trying to do her best, even with her heart-breaking. Tobias is the typical jock…. Hot, hooking up with anyone. However that’s just what he shows others. There is a surprising book boyfriend underneath it all. This book will stay with me for a long time!!! Don’t worry it has a HEA.

I LOVED THIS STORY! This book was wonderful! It had many twists and turns that I didn’t see coming. I find this rare in many books of this genre which seem to be predictable. I found it to be refreshingly sweet and suspenseful. I looked over this book several times before I decided to go ahead and try it…and I am SO glad that I did. This will definitely be a book that I read/listen to again. Also, both narrators were wonderful. I am going to look for more of their work, as I am going to look for more by this author. Well worth the credit! I highly recommend this book.

Slow burn with a plot twist

This was way better then I’d let myself expect.
Slow build and a twist you don’t expect although you suspect something all along.

Unprotected Sex

If there is one thing you're almost guaranteed to find in a Meagan Brandy novel, it's unprotected sex! lol

Besides that, this was another great story! I just new I had the secret figured out and I partially did, but I did not expect the pieces to come together like that! Wow! That you for the double HEA....I need those!

I SIMP for good narrators...

the book can be about a trashcan, as long as the voices reading about it are amazing I'll at least finish it!!! so the narration alone took me in!!!
some of the reviews that I read downright hated this book, which I guess is everybody's own opinion however I loved it.... were there some things that I thought could have been a little bit better absolutely. But who am I someone who never wrote a book to sit here and talk about somebody because their book was not 100% perfect?! I think you will enjoy this book if you decide to listen to that... I know for a fact you'll love the narrators because... CHEF'S KISS!!! they're that good!!

I was so shocked at the end of the story that I was just as emotional as the characters were.

Twist 's and turns, more story than sex scenes, performed well... Might be my favorite yet!
