FanFreakingTastic! The best series completion ever

This is the highly anticipated second (and final) book of Daisy’s story. I was lucky to get an ALC and still, I stayed up to listen to it again! It delivers everything it promised and SO MUCH MORE.

K F Breene delivers some of her most exceptional work here, and in a truly delicious way. The whole family crew stars again and it’s wonderful to listen the amazing Khristine Hvam bring everyone to wild life one more time.

It’s a dark story that had me horrified, stunned, laughing out loud and sobbing along the way. In pure Breene fashion, our favorite characters are drug through the most outrageous moments and I’m here for every second of it.

Grab a drink, a stress ball and lock yourself away where no one can disturb you because once you hit play, you won’t want to do anything else.

So good! Must listen!

Very reminiscent of the original series, demigods of San Francisco. So so good. hoping there will be more spin off series 🙏 I liked this book more than the first in this duology. I will have to listen to the first again with my suffering perspective.

I laughed, cried and wished I could be that amazing heroine. The only thing that could make this story the most beautiful would have been for Hadeial. Purposely not giving anything away, all hail the Queen Breene.

I highly recommend this book. It the second book in duolge. I recommend you read the Demigods of San Francisco first though which is also an awesome series. These 2 book series is an off shute from that series. I absolutely love how she brought the characters from that series into this one. Narrator does an excellent job. I've loved every series I've read from Ms. Breene. I really hope she do a story for Mortica I think it would be awesome he deserves his story too. Anyway I recommend this series I really enjoyed it.

Ms. Breene has just become an "auto-buy" for me and she doesn't disappoint.

Starting with the fact that this story is a spin off of another series that I absolutely loved, and then add that to the fact that it features fiery FMC Daisy - whom I loved from the previous series - and I was already sold.

This is the second book in this spin off series, but it has quite a bit of page time from the original crew of the Gods of San Franscisco series - Lexi, DemiGod Kieran, Mortecai and the rest of the gang - as they all end up in the Faelands to try to rescue Daisy.

The plot centers around MMC Tarian, a Celestial who is under a curse and forced to stay in a court where the magic is becoming corrupt. His goal has been to find the "chalice" to try to balance the magic and save Fairie. The unfortunate thing is that the chalice ended up being a person, not an object....and that person is Daisy.

Then, things get even more complicated when Daisy decides that she wants to stay and help Tarian to save Faerie because in the end, it will save her world as well. I'm sure the fact that she has experienced instant and exp0losive chemistry with Tarian had nothing to do with her decision, right?

I enjoyed this conclusion to the duet. I listened to it on audio and as always, Khristine Hvam did a fantastic job as the narrator. Was there absolute crazy insta-love? Yep. And bonkers behavior? Yep.

Did I enjoy it anyway? Yep.
