Enjoyed this story!

It was a book that keeps listeners wondering what was going to happen next. It kept you in suspense in parts. I could not stop listening this audio book. This is a truly wonderfully woven tale. I thoroughly enjoyed this story and look forward to future books by Shawna James.

The story starts with Stephanie, an elementary school teacher and her friend Maya gushing over handsome Andrew who is also a teacher in the same school, both of them are single, and do not miss a chance to admire Andrew. Soon, Stephanie and Andrew starts to talk, and Stephanie comes to know about Andrew's past, and how his past life haunts him.

This is a story of how Stephanie and Andrew manages their relationship despite all the ups and down, and stay strong.

The second part is available as kindle currently, waiting for it to come out as audio book as well.

Romantic story

I don’t usually listen audiobooks from romance genre, but the cover and the description drew me in and I decidedly to get this book for my credit, and I must say this is one of the best purchase I ever did on audible. Shawna James seems to excel at using words to create a magic. The book never had any dull moments, the story flew as any top seller story should. I won’t spoil this awesome story for you by mentioning exerts or story. All I will say is that this is one of the best audiobook ever on audible.

A great listen!

This was such a wild, amazing ride and a great listen. My emotions are all over the place but I just have to let them lose in writing because I can’t contain my excitement over this book. This world is beyond unique and it was so good to be back. The romantic scenes were nicely written and I enjoyed this audio version of the book so much.

Entertaining!

Nicely focused without fluff so it was easy to race through the story entertaining without pause. The main characters Stephanie and Andrew were absolutely incredible together, liked the romance that blossomed between them.

Got this as a recommendation from a friend and now I am thankful to that friend for recommending this awesome listen, I liked the story but I would say that the voice of the narrator brings life to this book, she knows how to narrate a romantic story and she does that with perfection!

The story was better than I was expecting

This was a brilliant start to what I know will be a great series. There was so much happening in the story, so many great characters and twists and turns that had me thinking “just one more chapter...” until there was nothing left. The audio book flew smoothly which was awesome, the book is divided into several chapters which made the book easy to move around.

The story was better than I was expecting, Stephanie is cool for the female main character, and we wish to meet a character like Stephanie in the real life. Andrew is likable and dashing, teachers in Stephanie's school gush over Andrew because of his looks, and for Stephanie he is a perfect man. The perfect man that was hard to get in her mind, but with time things changes and both of them come together as the story progresses, but the past of Andrew came in the way of their relationship and disturbs them. The story is well written and is a must listen for any of the romance fiction fans.

I really enjoyed listening this audio book. It had a great storyline; the characters in the story reeled me in, and kept me interested. I found myself completely intrigued and transfixed by it all. I can't wait for more of these books from the author Shawna James.

Easy listen, the anticipation that makes a romantic novel, liked the build of excitement between the two characters.

Clean romance audio book

When I search for romance books on audible, I usually just come across erotica’s or dark romance books, which I tend to not like at all. I only like clean romance books which have some suspense and elements of friendship and feelings. This audiobook by Shawna James is just what I look for in a romance book.

Talking about the story, this is a story of Stephanie who works as a teacher in a school with Mr. Perfect Andrew and gushes over him whenever they interact. Her dreams come true when Andrew also falls for her, and everything starts to go well between them, but suddenly things start to change when they start to live together in Europe.

Those who like to listen or read clean romance audio books or series may find this audio book to be worth it listen for their monthly credit, and also the fans of the couple romance genre may find this book to be a good listen.

Also, I would like to see how the story progresses into the next part and how does Stephanie manages everything.

Only sometimes is that we came across a book that keep us thinking what is going to happen next and how the story will progress further, this was one of those audio book. The story starts simple with Stephanie and Maya having conversations about Gym and Andrew, the knight in the shinning armor and soon goes into several directions which makes listeners get so much involved in the story. Listeners feel for both Andrew and Stephanie and want them to work out everything and vouch for them.

I am not sure if Shawna James have written any book prior to this one, I am not sure if this is her first book or not, but I will say that she has impressed me with her writing. If this is her first book then kudos to her for writing such an awesome book, and if this is not her first work then I would definitely like to see her previous works as well. This audio book was like a cool breeze after listening to several audiobooks that claim to be women's romance books but are something else entirely.
