the ending was too abrupt in leaving us unsatisfied. Yes I will get the next one, but if I die. I will die unsatisfied with the end of b this book.

the way the suspense keeps you on the edge. Waiting to hear what comes next

the cussing could be a bit less. I don't think the f-bomb is a necessary needed word.

As good as each book has been, a good author doesn't rest on his/her laurels and keep bringing the good stuff time & again! Those of us who have read other CA's work know he rarely if ever disappoints! So kudos!! Keep it coming...Just wish it wouldnt take a year in between books LOL 🤣

ps. a few too many f bombs for my liking, the most of any of the books thus far. some are warranted but I liked the fact it wasnt gratuitous. This one was on the edge lf that. Still 5 stars but just my 2 sense :p

The best book so far

I’ve enjoyed this series. At least one of the books though wasn’t great, if I’m being honest, but just getting to this one will make the journey worthwhile. What an amazing story! Things really come together and get really interesting.

Love the new direction

I only recently discovered this series and fell in love with all the characters! (I almost had a heart attack with the duke scare!!) The first two had a tad too much droning on about random things, but then it really hit the ground running! I’m so mad I listened to this one too quickly and that ending has me DYING for the next one!! Bray’s ability to bring each character to life is the greatest, pair it with Craig’s writing style and I’m almost watching a show in my head!!
