Contemporary retelling of Jasmine and Jafar's relationship... if you ever wonder where the scene in the Disney movie could have gone with slave girl Jasmine, well... here is an answer. detailed, sexy and very- very - graphic sex scenes and language, this book hit all the right notes. I especially appreciated how the author emphasized consent and healthy D/s relationships, and how being sub doesnt mean someone has to be submissive in every facet of their life. A few uneven notes, but nothing that stuck with me. Introduction of a few more characters I am keen to read more about.

Overall not to bad I'd ask for more spice

Kink at its Finest

This Enemies to Lovers Retelling is kinky!! I Loved the Chemistry between Jasmine & Jafar. I was Invested in their story, and I couldn't help but root for them. ❤ The Power Struggle, and I Swooned way too many times. Seriously, the Dirty Talk is some of the Hottest I've Read. Enjoyable Steamy Read

I really enjoyed this spicy read 10/10 for spicy scenes on thier own. The story is well written and compelling. I understand that this story goes over very specific kinks and I respect it for what it is, even if its not my brand of kinks. It definitely didn't keep me from enjoying it. Very heavy with praise and daddy kinks, amongst a couple of others.

The narrators did a great job encapsulating thier personalities. The male narrator gave me sin city vibes and i ate it up!

I also love the elements of the personalities/situations that was translated over to this series from the stories we grew up watching. I am absolutely looking forward to what the rest of the series has to offer.

Modern retelling of Jasmine’s story in an interesting world that Katee has built. Can’t wait to continue this series. Love that this is almost a coming into herself story as much as it is about our villain.

This book has some steamy scenes but not only that, the plot is super compelling! Jasmine coming into her power and claiming it for herself was really the only way this book could go. Slay queen! Literally…
