Publisher's Summary

Take the ride of your life with the Torpedo Ink motorcycle club in this thrilling romance novel from number-one New York Times best-selling author Christine Feehan.

Torpedo Ink is Aleksei “Absinthe” Solokov’s whole life. They’re his brothers, his family - his everything. But that doesn't stop him from wanting something that only belongs to him. That’s why the tough biker has spent the last six weeks at the library, reading every book he can get his hands on and watching the prim and proper librarian who makes his blood rush.

For the past six weeks, Scarlet Foley has been fantasizing about the handsome, tattooed man whose eyes follow her every move. She senses he's dangerous. She wants him to get close enough to touch. She wishes she could let him know the real woman, not the one she pretends to be. But Scarlet has a plan to carry out, and she can’t afford any distractions.

Absinthe is well aware that Scarlet is hiding something. She’s a puzzle he intends to solve, piece by intoxicating piece....

Degrading To Women

This is the worse treatment of a women by a man who said he loves her. Really what intellectual would allow anyone to degrade and humiliate them this way. This author has really reach bottom. I won’t be buying anymore from this her and I’ve read many. So if your into S & M of the sweet and innocent this is the book for you.

Fuebiw sex kink

dumbest shit ever. great way to fuck up a series. Too much tedious sex for cutting edge value. Chick is gang raped cuz she's sub, inside, becomes an assassin, then the rest of the book is her playing at being a human kitten with a plug up her was and a collar and leash. I'm mad I waited for this shit anxiously after the last book.

Disappointed

I love Christine Feehan but this book seemed a lot more soft porn than plot.

Amazing

It is so good to hear his story and the type of woman it takes to help heal him.

Not my favorite

I have read all of the books in this series and the related one. Definitely my least favorite. It was actually pretty disappointing. Found myself skipping most of the love scenes on this one. I hope the next one is more like the others.

Desolation Road

Desolation Road by Christine Feehan was a different book. A synth lived in a desolate world. The things done to him as a child were awful. He was a survivor that meets Scarlet who saves him. They meld together as only a couple meant for each other. He requires different things to feel good. I respect the author for having the foresight to make this book. it couldn't have been an easy book to create. Thank you for the book/audiobook.

Great stories, but the Erotica is too much...

I love Feehan's stories, but the sex scenes in this series are half the books. But hey, if you're looking for spank bank material, with a strong kinky edge, you might love it. I almost quit listening a couple times.

Too much porn and darkness

Christine Feehan has gotten too dark for me. Also, she has gotten deeper into the porn side maybe trying to sell a porn book with a tiny bit of story. I have already bought books in advance but finding it hard to listen to them. Have bought my last Christine Feehan book…

Majorly Disappointing.

I have listened to or read virtually all of Christine Feehan's books and used to really enjoy them. However this book and her last few are little more than porn with a badly written and poorly constructed story line squeezed in between the sex scenes.

Another great audio

I love this series. I love listening to Jim. I’m not one for audio books. But I’m happy to listen to this narrator.

Love it, but

A great read as usual. I love this series and look forward to each release. I love the base story and the revenge elements. But the sex, I always look at the length of the chapter, if more than 15 minutes then I skip. It can on to long and I get the vibe, insert sex scene here! Would not surprise me if they were recycled from the Dark novels.

Another one falls

Absinthe has helped to hold the Torpedo Ink family together but lately it has been getting harder so for some quiet time he heads to the library.
Scarlet is the librarian that Absinthe sees at the library and is immediately calmed by her even though he knows she has secrets and is carrying weapons.
With a contract on her head and Torpedo ink as her backup there is plenty of action and adventure as well as the TI form of relationships. This is a fantastic book.

Cringeworthy

I've enjoyed the Torpedo Inc series, stories and characters and look forward to them all finding themselves and their mates. I have not enjoyed the addition of the increasing number and repetitive nature of the sex scenes. I don't mind a good sex scene within a story when it is a natural progression and part of the character and story development, but it seems that they are used as filler to pad out the story and they only detract from the narrative. Jim Frangione gives a great performance and is easy to listen to.

Brilliant

The fourth book in the Torpedo Ink series is about Aleksei 'Absinthe' Solokov and Scarlet Foley. Absinthe meets Scarlet when he walks into the library where she works and she fascinates him and his body is reacting of it's own accord something that doesn't usually happen to members of Torpedo Ink. Meanwhile Scarlet has been fantasizing about the handsome, tattooed man whose eyes follow her every move. Can they reveal the real selves to each other and learn to trust again? Only time will tell and it is one fascinating ride as both of them have secrets to hide, which could reveal more similarities between the two and not just hot chemistry either. I highly recommend this audio book and the series as a whole. I love Christine Feehan's imagination and I would love to live in the worlds she creates, sure they are full of danger but, also love and dedication and escaping into them has saved me many times.
