Finished the story and started the new season.

It was good to finish the trilogy, but also to get the new series started. I went back in time from the last published book to listen to this. Filled in some gaps.

Engaging....

The non-stop action. Another well thought out thriller. At first, it took a min to identify where in the series book 24 belong . Nevertheless, Mitch Rapp novels are an interesting

A young Mitch Rapp, well done!

This was a good trip back to the Stan, Mitch, Irene and Stansfield world and Cold War Russia, done in a way that made it all seem fresh and new. I’m glad it’s not fresh and new but who knows what it could become again. Thanks for a very good listen!

Great story and narration

I loved sth storyline, but I wish there would have been more Mitch Rapp.

Insite into Mitch Rapp and the main character in the series!

I tweeted that Don was running a big risk writing this book. If he did it right it would payoff big! He did it right you should own this one!

The narrative surrounding Mitch Rapp provides a humanizing perspective often absent in his other accounts. As the quintessential operative, Rapp's daring and decisive actions introduce the reader to the realm of international espionage and illicit financial practices. The storyline effectively concludes the Cold War era while simultaneously establishing the origins of Rapp's character. The action is fast-paced and mostly credible, resulting in a satisfying conclusion to the Rapp prequel trilogy.

Excellent!

As the author states in the beginning, we never would have known what Flynn would have done to conclude the trilogy. That being said, I think this was a great way to end it. I am glad that a new author to the series keeps the original characters from the Rapp universe in the new novels.

Fitting end to the trilogy

The addition of Bentley to the Flynn/Mills Rappverse produced a fitting ending to trilogy of the prequel that started the Mitch Rapp saga. The twists and turns of the storyline and the return of many of the favorite characters such as Stanfield and Hurley made for an enjoyable arc that filled in many details. This is a must read for all Rapp fans young and old!

Enjoyed it

Back to some of the earlier Mitch Rapp days with the heavy DC politics and insights into Stansfield’s job. The action didn’t come until later, but still enjoyed it a lot.

I am thrilled that Mitch Raps story continues! I look forward to the next one in the series!

Mixed feelings, but enjoyable

I have mixed feelings about this book.

Per the author making a finale for the Mitch Rapp origin trilogy, I think it did a good job.

I enjoyed having more of Stansfield's and Hurley's perspectives. I also appreciated the explanation for the shift in Mitch and Hurley's relationship.

That said, I didn't think there was enough Mitch for a Mitch Rapp novel. I wish the author would have kept to the basically every-other-chapter flow of previous books.

Finally, I don't know how I feel yet about the end fight or the intrigue. Both felt a bit much for a Rapp story, but were enjoyable.
