Publisher's summary

Will James has had an interesting summer so far. He met a ghost, resurrected her, and took her for a girlfriend. She is a witch who died in 1891. She tells him he’s a necromancer. His occasional hookup becomes a full-time hookup. He meets an angel. He resurrects another ghost. His out-of-town girlfriend turns out to be a sorceress. He ties his boss up at a workshop, and she likes it. All these ladies want Will. What’s a guy to do? Create a harem of strong, talented women, of course.

To make matters more interesting, Will learned the woman that owns the theater where he performs is a succubus. Additionally, he killed a zombie with a thought, killed a demon with his powers, and won his first battle against another necromancer. On the down side, his sister has terminal cancer, and the Church apparently wants both his witch girlfriend and his succubus friend dead before they enslave him.

As summer turns to autumn, Will is faced with the challenges of learning what it means to be a necromancer. His focus turns to growing his skills and dusting off his combat skills to protect his growing family and his circle of friends—all while trying not to draw the attention of the Church.

Will’s succubus friend Bernadette notifies him that she has a demon problem she needs Will’s help with. It looks like Will and his family will be spending a lot of time at Bernadette’s Den of Iniquity.

I didn't expect such a good storyline.

There is a whole lot happening in this book. Everything from meeting a new lover(s) to sex shows, to swindling an enemy. The flow of the story is good with very few low/dull points, and those times are necessary to further the tale. I don't think I can say much more that wouldn't spoil the story except there is a lot of fighting sex and death in this episode and you won't want to miss it.

Things left undone

The novel was still a little over balanced towards the BDSM, but overall, I believe it left off with a soft cliffhanger of things undone.

2nd book is as good as the 1st.

The author does a great job of continuing the story.
And if you liked the 1st book you're not going to be disappointed with this one.
The narrators do a wonderful job.
If you like dark HaremLit and bdsm you should enjoy this series.

I enjoy the story but maybe not the male narrator

This book was good I like how there's good detail of how the magic works. The only drawback is the male narrator reads like he's reading a grocery list most of the time.

Great storyline

I like this storyline. Very much an adult book, has some of the same emotional content as Daniel Schinhofens’ work. Been at work all day as I write this, so simply say, good story, male narrator has little emotion in reading, lady does an excellent job.

Great Story Continuation

This story is so good. The depth and detail given is awesome and everything you hope for from books in this theme/genre. Book 3 cant come soon enough. The story evolution for the MC is great and all the elements of old/new magic and tech helps to drive this story into my favorites of the year.

The narration by Zachary Zaba and Kassandra Cherry has been phenomenal. From the different characters to the depth of telling the story the narration has performed flawlessly.

Love Story but Cringe at Narration

As stated in heading, I enjoy most of authors stories, but the narrators should have been better. Especially as this series was the first ones from the author on audible. Saxon Man series had much better audio.
