what a interesting character that Evelyn is. I really enjoy the mix between her and her two companions. I can't wait to the next installment. five stars all around. I highly recommend it to anyone!

Any demonic book that starts like that is always an interest and it did not disappoint the narration was great and the story compelling so listen to all your in one go

litrpg meets SCP

The book itself is an interesting litrpg. Probably one of the better ones. The SCP angle hits pretty early on and at first wasn't too obvious. a few things here and there. At some point, it felt like it was exactly an SCP thing from the perspective of the object.

Pick it up if you like litrpg and are curious about SCP.

Fast pace! She will advance!

I really like that the action basically didn’t stop from start to finish. Even the pets with a bit of necessary exposition happened mid freaking battle! Eat the babies! Eat the adults too! ADVANCE!

The story of a Villain.

A genuine, true to feeling story of someone who is not a hero. Not an anti-hero. But a villain through and through. Our protagonist is not human, not entirely, yet desires to be so and desires power above all. It’s refreshing, to see a truly evil, character that can still be so driving and relatable.

Not by any means a “New York bestseller” this story appeals to a specific audience, those looking for a bloody tale of survival in a world with an outright violent clash of fantasy and science. Yet considering the violence of the narrative it’s more than fitting to sit back and enjoy the show.

Not bad

This story was fast paced and somewhat interesting. It reminds me a lot of savol series because how it began but then turned into its own thing later on. Looking forward to book 2 if there is a sale for it.

Not Bad

Overall, quite entertaining. Evelyn is the amoral monster we can all secretly cheer for. There was some anime level dialogue here and there, like the "fighting ferociously with someone for a long time and then stopping to chat with them before the final blow" style of thing. Also, Evelyn basically has deus ex machina skill that is more than cheating. Still, it's a fun power romp of carnage and leveling. It isn't anything monumentally special but a good listen and worth a credit if you are into these types of stories.

Strong start, boring ending.

The beginning of the book was absolutely brutal and gore filled. That pace did not last the whole book. It became more of an adventure story with a mix of horror rather than a horror story with a mix of adventure. Towards the end it was pretty typical litrpg novel pacing and combat. It was very light on character development or witty dialogue with too much of an emphasis on 30 minute fight scenes. Overall it was fine, I guess, just not what the first few minutes had lead me to believe it would be.
