The complete series in a single offering!

Brian was a book lover, always seeking the solace of dusty bookstores and the scent of well-worn pages. His tastes veered towards contemporary fiction, but he couldn't resist the allure of antiquated shops filled with stories from ages past. Fate intervened on one such visit when a seemingly ordinary book tumbled from a shelf and struck him, becoming slightly damaged in the process.

The shop owner insisted he purchases the book, charging an exorbitant price that left Brian stunned. Little did he know, this was no ordinary tome—it was a lost grimoire, a powerful artifact capable of summoning demons.

Late one night, engrossed in the mysterious text, Brian unwittingly summoned an Imp. The creature was haughty and insubordinate, deeming itself superior to Brian due to its previous role as the assistant of a powerful Demon Lord from over 5,000 years ago.

With great reluctance, the Imp aided Brian in summoning his first Succubus, marking a turning point in his life. He soon found himself immersed in a hidden world of Demon Mages, all vying for control of the grimoire and the immense power it held. But, where he thought his Succubus would be a beautiful demon willing to do whatever he wished in bed, he found out that outside it, she was, shall we say, different.

Thrust into a realm of seductive demons and dangerous adversaries, Brian must navigate this treacherous landscape, unsure whether his new reality will ultimately bring fortune or ruin. One thing was certain—life would never be the same again.

This story has harem elements, with portals, planes, and just weird stuff, so be ready and jump right in!

The story is really well developed It progresses at a good pace and you really get into the story. This series is one to listen to. What’s nice is the whole seried in one credit and is a really good deal.

A great series all in one serving

not a bad story, but constantly repeats things between the books and the MC is all, 'holy cow I've never heard this before'. also a lot of things has changed between books. author either needs better notes or needs to review previous books while writing new ones. it really brings you out of the story

writer needs to take better notes

So many details get forgotten about and retreaded. Completely throws off the immersion. Had to quit mid way through book two.

Constantly forgetting things

In books 1, 2, and 3 everything is repeated over and over again and is treated as if it’s something never heard before. In book 4 everything learned in the other 3 books is wrong and has changed. They even for get the Main characters name at one point and call him Jack multiple times. The king of the shifters and his eldest son are good and upstanding people in book 3. In book 4 they hate each other and the eldest son is just like the younger son. Him becoming a king is also changed as if it never existed. It’s almost like book 4 was written by someone else who didn’t even know about the other 3 books. He forgets that he can portal and has to relearn it multiple times as if he has never done it before. Emp demons can't use telepathy beyond 50 ft. Only Bart can talk with other emps long distances. Not in book 4 that all changes.

A story with the memory of a goldfish. Book 4 ruins everything.

really liked the story overall it's got some different aspects to the world writing you don't see often and I enjoyed the characters. the writing could be rough, repetitive conversations and consistent contradiction of previous books in the series makes it harder stay with it but overall good voice acting and if it's early works by the writer I can't wait to read the future storys.

enjoyable listen

I enjoy the characters, most of them feel pretty unique. however, there are numerous times where the author retreads the exact same conversation, but changes something. It feels like it needs better editing passes. additionally, very frequently the narrator will note something, only for a character to speak up to state the exact same thing. its a common problem, but one that is frustrating to deal with so frequently. these issues pull me out of the story, which is otherwise very entertaining. I would absolutely purchase a re-recorded version with these issues fixed. also, for the omnibus, including a book preview at the end of each book is particularly intrusive. maybe just put one preview at the very end?

story and world was fun, but actually story structure has issues. + repetetiveness

To start, before I start ranting, I'll say that the audio performance is passable but flawed. The primary narrator mispronounces place names and words, and the supporting narrator confuses which character she is voicing at times, reading one characters lines in another voice. I've listened to other works they've narrated before and these aren't mistakes they're prone to making, so I can only assume this is a lack of oversight on the part of the publisher.

This series reads like it was written by a poorly organized authors' collective, i.e. a writers' mill. Not only are details forgotten and re-explained from one book to another, as though written by different authors working from the same outline document, but even from chapter to chapter in the same book, characters act as though information they've discussed as though it was new to them multiple times already is somehow new and surprising.

This could have been a genuinely good story, but instead, and especially because it is in omnibus form, the book becomes an alzheimer's simulation. Either multiple authors wrote individual chapters without access to the whole manuscript, or an AI was used to produce later installments of the series with minimal editing by both the writer and the publisher.

Either way, after the initial installment, the rest of this series was churned out in a hurry with no attention to detail.

While I'm generally a fan, this is indicative of the slap-dash type of work I've grown to expect from Marcus Sloss and his company, Royal Guard Publishing. The added bug-turned-feature of the preview chapters of other books (aka advertisements) being injected in every volume included in the omnibus is made to appear as a lack of attention to editing in throwing an omnibus together by simply dropping all the files into a folder and hitting the publish button without thinking. This "mistake" happens often enough with RGP that it can only be intentional.

I liked the over all story; however, it has alot of issues.
The main character repeats himself constantly . He will act as if he didn't know something that was stated in the paragraph prior and then will do so another three to four times.
Honestly I only finished the first book and a half before the inconsistencies got to me. maybe it gets better but I doubt it .

super inconsistent

story was really good and imaginative. writer forgets details and leaves out information. mc and group talk about details and such, then mention it later in story and act like it was new info and re converse as thought it was never mentioned before.

great story, bad writing.
