Publisher's Summary

A tortured hero with a heart of gold

Growing up on the streets of Rio de Janeiro, Javier Almeida has only his older sister to protect him. When she's sold to a human-trafficker, he vows to hunt down those responsible.

Years later, Titan Group's Delta team finds him, tattooed and brawling, a vigilante protector with information they want. They take him in and train him, working him harder than a man should be driven, until he's a soldier harboring an obsession. Ready for revenge, Javier ghosts his way across the globe, tracking the men who took his sister and working elite private security jobs.

Meets sweet and sassy

Jilted at the altar, Sophia Cole turns the reception into a one-woman party. She's intent on devouring all the cake and champagne, so she can bask in the calories she's been avoiding. In the midst of the revelry, he walks in, the one man she can never ignore.

Javier is her older brother's black ops teammate - an automatic Do Not Go There. But if there's one thing better than fondant and a buzz to ease the wounds of a cheating fiancé, it might be a one-night stand with a South American military man.

Game changer

Javier didn't expect to see Sophia again. He never thought he would even want to see her again. He shouldn't have touched her, but his mind won't stay away from her.

Now, Sophia Cole is thousands of miles away from the safety of her parents' lavish estate and working alongside him in hell. She's a staffer at an embassy, and he's there to keep them alive. There are bombs and bullets and blood-hungry enemies.

And then she's taken. Gone. Just like his sister. But so much worse.

Everyone needs a little Brazil!

No one writes sexual tension like Crisitin Harber. Jeffrey Kafer takes this tension to the next level with his narration. One of my favorite quotes from the book is "That accent is an orgasm waiting to happen." This couldn't be more true with Jeffrey's performance for this story.

Javier and Sophia have met in passing a handful of times. It isn't until a disappointing night for them both that they lean on each other and discover the attraction from afar means a red hot passion one night just won't fulfill.

Cristin Harber gave us a Latin Lover and a "Teflon Tough" heroine to fall in love with.I've truly enjoyed the Titan and Delta stories and I cannot wait to read the next in the series. She will be an automatic one-click for me.

If you could sum up Delta: Revenge in three words, what would they be?

Action-packed, passionate, steamy

Who was your favorite character and why?

Javier, everyone likes a damaged hero, right? His character development felt the most real and it was great seeing how he changed throughout the audiobook.

What about Jeffrey Kafer’s performance did you like?

The whole performance was fantastic, the characters came to life but the accent of Javier was spot on, just perfect. Although by now, I don't expect anything less from Jeffrey Kafer.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

During the epilogue a letter is read that was so moving, I got a little choked up listening to it.

Any additional comments?

Who doesn't love a bit of Delta/ Titan? I love the banter between the delta team, I had a couple of chuckles. Javier is haunted by his past and seeks revenge, Sophia is his team-mates sister who gets herself in some pretty difficult situations - when they get together it creates a passionate and steamy romance. Cristin Harber is once again on fine form, not many people can write and create a world like she can. I'm itching for more.

🌻This book was really good!🌻

🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻V from Kansas🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻

Of all of the books I have listened to in this and the Titan series, this one was the best. The writing really pulled me in, to the story. The way that the author developed the relationship between the Hero and Heroine helped me have an emotional investment in this book. In addition, the intimate scenes were HOT! Of course, the Hero’s foreign accent added to the hot factor.

Hey, seriously, don’t skip this one, it’s really, really good. I actually think it’s the best military type romance I’ve listened to this year!

Javier and Sophia's story is incredible!

As a huge fan of Cristin Harber's Titan series and now Delta series, I was excited get my hands on Delta: Revenge. From start to finish it is filled with suspense, combustible chemistry and a fantastic story line. I love how she intricately weaves multiple characters from all of her books relating to The Titan Group and continues to tell one amazing story.

In this book, she specifically focuses on Javier Almeida a member of Titan's Delta Team. His entire life has had one focus, to get revenge for his sister by tracking down the cartel who took his sister and sold her into human trafficking. Growing up in Rio de Janeiro he knew how to fight, but Titan made him a force to be reconded with.

Sopha Cole found the worst of news while at the alter. Thankfully, she found out before any vows were made. Now, all she wants is Cake and champagne. The last thing she expects to find in a dark guest room is her brother's black opts teammate, Javier. Of course he is the last person she should consider turning to, she knows the Delta Boys and their reputations. But there is something about Javier that she just can’t ignore.

PS - Jeffrey Kafer does an excellent job of narrating this incredible story. His performance only enhances Cristin's brilliance as an author.

Delta: Revenge

What made the experience of listening to Delta: Revenge the most enjoyable?

The story and the characters always seem more alive to me to hear the story rather than reading it. I seem to get sucked into the reality of the story.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Javier. He was strong, hurting, loyal, determined and he never wavered from his feelings for Sophia once he figured out how he felt. He was so understanding as to why Sophia was having a hard time saying "I love you" to him. He knew she loved him and was secure in that knowledge.

Which character – as performed by Jeffrey Kafer – was your favorite?

Javier. The accent was done so well. Jeffrey has such a talent for making each character have their own distinct "voice".

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The ending where Javier had planned the entire wedding for Sophia so she didn't have to do a thing. The letter he wrote her when he proposed was awesome, so romantic!

Any additional comments?

I don't think Cristin Harbin can write a bad Titan/Delta book! Can't wait for the next one.

A little light on the action

Also available in KU.

I still liked this one but I felt that the action scenes were kind of short and not developed as well as they have been in other books. It was still a four-star listen for me. I just wish the relationship hadn’t monopolized so much of the storyline.

As always Jeffrey Kafer is fantastic.

Perilous, action-packed and suspenseful

This couple’s love story was extremely hot, hot, hot. With surprising family secrets-which would make a fantastic novella for another time. But, for now, this is a first-rate novel from Ms. Harber that won’t disappoint.

Interesting story

Another Delta Team member finds his girl. After a disasterous near wedding Sophia is the one who has trouble committing and it takes a few rescues for her to get over it. Javier is surprisingly patient once he figures out his feelings. Would have liked some scenes with Javier and Sophia’s father and mother since brother Collin seems to quickly take the outing in stride- or maybe he was just relieved that he could rely on help from a team mate to help retrieve Sophia from trouble. Also want more of the CIA mom- maybe with Collin.

Revenge is not always as important as we think

Another romance which didn't go the way I had expected. I'm still unsure about the surprise twist just before the end. The whole thing with Her mother was a little forced for me, but may that was just because I had not seen it coming.
I'll read the rest, it's an easy read with likeable characters and real plot lines
