Resumen del Editor

“My name’s Victoria - no last name. Don’t ask.”

That was all that the woman would share when Delta team’s expert trigger man, an Australian named Ryder, pulled her from the pits of a human trafficking nightmare and took the gun from her hand.

He didn’t mean to steal her revenge but survival was the priority. Now that Victoria was home? She had a past he was trying to understand while still keeping a secret from her.

But he’s not the only one. When she goes missing, Delta team discovered that Victoria No Name was a one-woman vigilante force, taking on whoever crossed her path, from gunrunners to a drug-pushing motorcycle club.

She was exactly who Ryder thought she might be, and now he was coming in to help - whether she wanted backup or not.

Redemption

So I might have made a mistake with the one. Pretty sure I should have read it right after Locke and Key instead of waiting a few months between. I can not fully remember the ending of Locke and Key but think this picks up right where it ends. It didn’t subtract from the story at all, I just couldn’t remember one of the events they talked about in the beginning. The Aussie member of Delta has not had an easy life. No member of Delta team has. When they pull a woman out of hell who will not tell them anything but her first name, Ryder is intrigued. Victoria has been through hell and feel lost to who she is. She is such a strong character who went through hell but didn’t let it break her. I am very sad I am getting o the end of both Delta and Titan. I will miss both teams when this series is over, and Redemption will definitely be one I go back and reread.

5+ stars for the Aussie & midwest-girl Delta story

The audio book brought a whole new life to this story (beautiful job, Jeffrey Kafer!), and just like the first time I experienced it reading the pages, I'm still adoring this story so hard. Plus, new live experiences give a bit different perspective, and Ryder and Victoria's story hit even deeper.

I adored the story and how Ryder and Victoria found and pursued their hea. So many surprises mixed with adventure and truths we all need. It overwhelmed me with beauty and contentment and joyous secret smiles.

Amazing

Another home run by Cristin Harber. I didn't want the book to end. Extremely strong heroic sexy men willing to do anything to help the women they love and very strong independent women. Jeffrey Kafer does an amazing job as usual. Can't wait for more!

Redemption

You have done it again Cristin Harber. Couldn’t put down. I am loving them Titan/Delta men, but have a soft spot for Ryder. Being an Aussie, I love my Aussie men. Another story packed with action, and I can’t wait to listen to next one. It is certainly a binge feast

🌻A bit of a let down, after the last book 😭🌻

🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻V from Kansas🌻🌻🌻🌻🌻

I was really looking forward to this book, after the last book that was sooo good. This one started out good. After Ryder helps rescue Victoria from he own personal hell, they develop a bond with a special trust that help Victoria heal. However, after Victoria returns to Iowa, the emotional intimacy between the two, no longer seems as intense. The story is a pretty common commando type romance, for the rest of the book. It’s not terrible, just not as emotionally intense, as the last book.

PS: Bonus, Javier also gets a special scene, in this book!

Very Enjoyable story

Before I say anything else I want to mention that Ryder is Australian! He is a delight to listen to. Jeffrey Kafer did a great job. Anyhoo! I seriously could listen to that accent all night! Ryder is a character who has been through the wringer. He has found his place with these boy on Delta

Victoria is a no frills do what it takes to get it done girl! I loved her attitude and thought process. She is also amazingly strong willed. Her friends Seven is a different type of character. These two are from Iowa..The flyover state as Ryder put it. They sure get into a mess of stuff for being from a small town

This one is so much more than just your normal romance. It is filled with drama, intrigue and suspense as well. Half the time I wasn’t sure who was on whose side. I throughly enjoyed it and I will check out others in this series.

Rape Recovery Rushed in this Unrealistic Romance

The book description tells you this is a romance series set in the world of human trafficking, but it should come right out and warn you that the MC is raped and that her rape, even though it mostly is just referenced rather than described, plays a significant role throughout the story.

This book is part of the Delta romance series, which is an offshoot of the Titan romance series. Generally, you can listen to this in stand alone fashion, but there were gaps in the story that I think are filled in if you read the Titan books in order ... or at least read Titan, Book 12 about Locke and Cassidy before this one.

Also, I enjoy the books in this series that are all Action N Amore, hot alpha men and the strong women they pair up with. Military stakes are great, too. What I don’t care for are dim women or depressing backstories that outweigh the Fun, Guns, N Ammo vibe that the better books in this series have. If you enjoy what I do, stick to books 1-3 in the Titan series and books 1-2 of the Delta series.

This book is about Idaho girl Victoria, supposedly a kick ass bounty hunter, who walks solo into a biker bar to collect a bounty and finds herself abducted and transported to a Russian human trafficking site. This book abruptly jumps from her capture to her rescue a month later by Delta Team and Aussie-hottie Ryder in particular. The rescue/takedown of her captors isn’t very detailed. We get some parts of the rescue filled in later in this book, but I suspect that you’ll find the rescue scene fleshed out in Titan, Book 12. I personally found it hard to appreciate how the details of the rescue create realistic plot points for Ryder and Victoria. Supposedly, Victoria should have, or maybe shouldn’t have, taken out the big bad. Also, for someone held and brutalized for a month, Victoria pretty quickly gets back to her life and then also into bed with Ryder. I get that in real life, all women will recover from rape differently, but this just didn’t feel at all plausible (Titan, Book 6, about Rocco and Catarina also Involved a rape segment, but I thought that treatment was more realistic).

The implausible plot points continue in other areas. Victoria repeatedly makes the stupid decision to go lone wolf, despite having no military, law enforcement, or fighting background, other than teaching kids basic self defense tactics. She repeatedly goes after dangerous criminals when she could easily lean on trusted friends for help, like BFF Seven (a girl with connections to the biker world that Victoria keeps charging into) or Ryder (a Delta sniper who she literally leaves in her bed to go and hold clandestine meetings). Meanwhile, Ryder’s past includes being too late to save a fellow foster kid from harm... and yet he lets Victoria go off on her own into who knows what kind of scenarios ... because she’s a warrior. Really? What makes her a warrior, other than her calling herself a bounty hunter? And badass, hair dyed, tongue-stud sporting Seven just lets her BFF go charging off alone to constantly get herself captured?

As much as I liked Ryder, his backstory, and his awesome accent (portrayed very well by narrator Kafer), I was disappointed by Victoria. The only part of this book that I enjoyed was the last hour or two, which held the only Titan/Delta action sequences worthy of the series. Since you can borrow this as part of the Audible Escapes package, it could still be worth it to listen, especially if you listen until the rescue and then skip the the last hour or two.
