Publisher's summary

Banished gangster Benito Martell is living on the edge. An explosive hook-up in a club gifts him the relief he craves, but nothing about his life is ever so simple. Complications abound, and before long, he’s falling for the only man who can save his family from eviction.

Recovering addict Mickey Larwood has worked hard to leave his past behind. He can’t look back, not even for the beautiful Benito, the last soul on Earth he expected to steal his heart - a soul who’s knee-deep in the underworld Mickey has run hundreds of miles to escape.

Benito can deny it all he wants, but Mickey can smell trouble a mile off.

And Benito is trouble with a capital T. As his desperate lies unravel, so does the fledgling love that’s grown between them. If Benito wants deliverance from his old life and a future with Mickey, old ghosts need to die.

If they don’t kill him first.

Deliverance is an angsty standalone MM romance novel, with second chances, found family, friends-to-lovers, and buckets of hurt/comfort themed loveliness. Trigger warnings for addiction and childhood trauma.

Beautifully Done

I love all your work - and this book is not exception. Mickey and Benito were well one and your narrator, as always adds to that great chemistry and story. Thank you - looking forward to the next! I love the IRL dialogue, situations and characters. My great escape is beautiful, flawed, illustrious romance!

Stellar performance

I loved the book; these characters are so endearing that it's easy to connect with them. Dan Calley brought them to life with a gravelly, gritty voice that suits the story well. I highly doubt...listen in order, though.

Gritty but Perfect

I don’t think there’s anything Garrett can’t write or any character she can’t make you love no matter what their past is like. Benito was no exception and him falling for Mickey despite trying to get out of his bad past showed how much he was willing to do to provide for his family and make Mickey think he was worth something. The care he had for his sister and mom and how much he was willing to sacrifice to make sure they had everything they needed, no matter what, was worth it. I really loved this book, even with the darker themes.

Dan Calley nailed the characters and the tone of the. Book as always. I don’t think there is anything he can’t make better with his narration!
