great read

love this book just as the first really like all the different POV great ride leaves me needed more

Voice Actors are Excellent; Story series is incredible

The girl who does Tessa’s voice is perfect, as is the person who does the voice for the Outlaw. I think the voice who does Corrick doesn’t really match how I envision the Prince—he can seem too harsh at times—but overall it’s one of the best audiobook series. I relisten to the first book in the series a lot; I’m sure I’ll do the same with this one.

Amazing!

I'm super picky when it comes to narrators for audio books, but they second I sampled a clip of Defy the Night, I bought it instantly. The narrators did such an amazing job bringing this book to life. I absolutely loved them in Defy the Night, and I'm so glad they added another for The Outlaw.

I've seen this series pop up a few times of booktok, and decided to give it a go after being in a bit of a book slump, and I'm so glad I did. This cured my book slump right up! Everything about this series is amazing!

This is the second series I've read of Brigid's, and in my opinion, this series far surpassed the other. I couldn't stop listening. Right from the very 1st sentence in book 1, I was hooked, and ended up listening to both books in 2 days. I do wish I would've known that this was going to be a trilogy, but I'm somehow going to have to patiently wait until January for book 3.

not as good as first book

this book was good it started to pick up near the end. I would say it wasnt as good as the first one but, still twists and turns.

Amazing

I loved everything about this book and the narrators. I can’t wait for book 3 to come out

Nothing is black or white

The twist the betrayal. I couldn't read this book fast enough. This series has me in a choke hold. Tessa looks for the good in everyone which is lovely until it's not. But she's right you can't make everyone an enemy. I can't wait to see how it all concludes in the next book.

Excellent

Suspenseful book 2 in the series with excellent carryover from book 1, character and plot development. So looking forward to to book 3. Thank you Brigid Kemmerer

Amazing Sequel to Defy The Night!

I have to admit that I thought this was a duology but I will wait with baited breath for the third book!

Excellent pacing, multiple POV, exciting sea voyage, and the political turmoil continues!

The narrators all give an excellent performance! Highly Recommend!

Love this series!

I do love this series, It can be a lot of info to follow but it’s good!! My only complaint is the female narrators swallowing noises 😩😩😩😩😩😩 they drive me INSANE. I was hoping they would be better in the 3rd book but they’re not.

This book was amazing. The second half is so action packed! Tessa was less of a stand out but I love the new characters, the ship journey and especially the ending! Now I’m mad we have to wait for book 3!
