Morrigan died as the unwilling sacrifice in a demonic ritual, but the Grim Reaper has another plan for this wayward soul—to make her his new apprentice!

Reaping isn't exactly her dream summer job (long hours, crappy pay, no benefits), but with the alternative being banished to limbo, she's ready to give it a shot!

Will Morrigan embrace her new role as a bringer of death, or cling hopelessly to her lost humanity? Either way, she'll have to adapt to a world of spirits, hollows, black magic, and demons while completing her daily murder list is "just part of the job."

I like, really liked this… way more than I thought I would and I’m very pleased. The premise is interesting, the characters are relatable and the worldbuilding is there. I’m excited to see where things go in the future

Really great

This is such a cool concept. Autumn created a fabulous story, and Jude and Rhys brought it to life.

Recommend if you are looking for a coming-of-age story that takes multiple books to get rolling.

I only worked around 3 hours into this book. I really disliked how whiny the Main character acts chapter after chapter even as a coming-of-age story it grated. If Jude Erin's goal was to embody just how annoying and naive MC is then I would say she did an excellent job with voice acting, otherwise...

Setting and plot failed to grab me. The concept of coping with immortality and dealing with loss is good but most early interactions feel either arbitrary, forced, or both.

Issues with MC and story doesn't pull enough weight

This Story has a lot of promise in it, which is why i got it, but the MC is nothing but a good for nothing whiney little teenage brat. She's absolutely useless to everybody and would have been better off just not being offered her deal. Worse yet is that it is narrated by one of the absolute worse narrators that I have ever heard. She, Jude, sounds like a petulant child having a hissy fit about not getting her way. She doesn't' listen to anything at all, she doesn't listen to Anybody at all she just wants her cake and too eat it too. Maybe just maybe this story would be improved with a new narrator and a better overall story line.

Mediocre at best
