Brilliant

Fantastically written, seductive and magical. Shocking ending with a hidden twist still have goosebumps. Wow!!

The unexpected twists and turns leading to the ending are fantastic! The ultimate who did it!

Cool premise.
Decent story.
But the narrator is horrible. 23 year old English woman sounds like 65 year old English woman. Southern old guys all sound exactly alike and all wrong. It’s hard because the narrator is great in primary role. But what???? They need to understand we hear accents and have traveled!!!!

Did an Editor ever look at this??

The story was good, the characters were interesting but there were lots of British/Americanisms that were a miss. It’s set in the States and if you’re unfamiliar w the area you won’t notice...but a flight from Atlanta to Savannah??? No.

Fantastic

First, I love narration by Saskia Maarleveld! She is one of my favorites and brings such life to the characters she reads. This book was really good. Dark and lots of twisted things going on, didn’t see a lot of them coming. It was suspenseful and I couldn’t stop listening. Absolutely recommend!

Top-Notch Psychological Thriller!!!

Many memorable moments throughout book, but don't want to spoil for others. Twists and turns...too many to count. This book will keep you guessing till the very last line. Great author, Superb narration, Such a Fantastic Read/Listen!!!

Another Excellent Book

Sarah is one of my favorite authors, and like her other books this one does not disappoint. The twist at the end gets me every time.

Unreal twists, prepare to be shocked.

Not gonna lie, it took me a little bit to get into the book. I may have just been distracted when I first started it, tho. By a quarter of the way thru it, things started happening. I had so many theories as to what was going to happen, what had happened, who was the 'guilty' party, who was a victim? Definitely worth the read. Or listen, which I did.

Absolutely Insane

It's a hard book to put down. At one point, I'm thinking this is a train wreck waiting to happen and during the next point, I'm stumped.

What a performance!

The story was very good with a lot of twists and turns, but the narration was spectacular! Saskia Maarleveld did so many voices and accents in this book; she made the story even better. While listening to the book, it was hard to tell if it was only one person doing the narration or 10! Truly an outstanding performance.
