A virus devastates humanity. Few men survive. The rest are monsters. The women are dead, except Evie.

Through a quirk in her genetics, she survives. When her physiology begins to evolve, she must come to terms with what she is and accept her role in finding a cure.

The mutated hunt her. The men brutalize her...except three. Cryptic warrior, contrite lover, caring enemy: they are fiercely protective of the last living woman, but divided in their own agendas. Can they come together to protect the only hope for humanity? Evie must survive.

I don’t especially care for the narrator but everything else was perfection! The vivid imagery and story captivated me from the first sentence.

I have loved this story since its conception and have impatiently awaited its audio conversion.

4.25 / 5 Stars!

I love a good dystopian society, and this one did not disappoint. I listened to the audiobook, and I need to take a second to praise Lucy Rivers, because she not only played the FMCs and all the MMCs, but she was also the last woman in the world as far as she was aware and was traveling to find the cure meaning she came in contact with MULTIPLE men that she had to narrate. The narration was unreal and it had to be a massive feat. WAY TO GO! Back to the story.... I loved this concept and I love a good strong FMC. I loved seeing the character growth and the very beginnings of a why choose romance. Don't expect a ton of spice in this book because it's more world building and character introductions, but this series has a lot of potential to be amazing.

Strong FMC

a unique take on dystopian society

It had potential, a strong woman in an apoloclyose with romance was what I was looking for. You can't find it here.. Narrator done great. The story was lacking and moved to fast, I couldn't connect to any of the characters.

Sooo disappointed

This incredible story isn’t my usual genre but Pam Godwin blew this out of the water! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

This started off interesting. A bad ass woman surviving, awesome. However you (the author) chose to perpetuate harmful narratives and prejudice. You could have handled your antagonist a million different ways, yet you chose real world hate. Want to demonize the aphids? Cool, they aren't a real life group that your narrative could impact. The islamphobia was distasteful and disgusting. Authors should be aware their books have reach and influence over their readers. Your narrative is harmful. This is my first experience with this author and I am extremely disappointed. I had high hopes for this book and was very disappointed. How any one could rate this above 1 star is above me. Being a good person and having morals will beat an interesting story everytime.

Islamphobia, Gross
