I love Susan Wittig Albert's work and I try to listen to or read everything she writes.
This title is no exception to the enjoyable nature of every title of her work which I've experienced. I had already read this book, only realizing that fact after listening to a bit of the audio, but I wasn't disappointed. Her outcomes aren't predictable, so I find myself trying to remember, "now how did she work that out?"
I prefer a mystery to a thriller, and Susan's works are mysteries.
On a related subject, I wish that mysteries were separated from thrillers, as I don't enjoy thrillers for the most part.

Even on the 2nd and 3rd listen this is good.

The central character is really unlikeable. Judgemental know-it-all to her best friend as well as minorities.

China Bayles is a jerk
