Ex-special forces operator Amos Carver is being framed for murder.

Carver hasn't killed anyone. At least not for a few years, and certainly not in some backwoods Georgia town. He would never harm the person they're accusing him of murdering. But nobody believes him. And no one is willing to help prove otherwise.

The town might look almost dead. It might look like it's barely clinging to life. But it's very much alive. Rotten to the core. And the unknown forces running it want him dead.

They can come. They can try. But there's not a chance in hell Carver is going down without a fight.

A jack Reacher knock off

Very similar character, story, dialogue to a Reacher novel. If you’ve not read Lee Child, it would be a decent book.

Reacher with a gun.

It’s a good story line and a good listen. But….. it’s just Reacher with a gun.

Good first book of a series.

Good book so far. Readers faux southern accent for characters was a turn off being from the south, Georgia to be exact. Lived here my entire life and only time I hear that accent in such a way is a movie or tv show.

Twisty

It's not super great, but not bad either. It had some good twists and a lot of action. I really enjoyed the end. Amos is very HARD to like, though.

Carver's carecter

this is nothing like what I have read from this author before, but I have loved every thing that I have read. I took the chance I bought this book, today I will start the last book in the series! I average 3 days per book! and as always, I LOVE these books! John is one of my all time favorite authors! I have laughed, cried and gone through all the emotions in his books. you will fall in love with his creation of his carecters!! if you are looking for amazing books try these!!!
