Well-paced thriller!

From the vivid setting in Kenya to the complex characters, Dawn of Deception is an excellent audiobook. The narration was superb, and I couldn’t stop listening. The story unfolds with great suspense and action.

This book made me want to throw up

I mean it as a compliment. Gut-wrenching and brutal throughly. The story telling was equally as fantastic and easy to get lost in.

Harshly shoved out of my comfort zone; no regrets

This is not the typical style of story I listen to, and I am so glad I took the chance on it. The thrilling tale starts with blood, continues with blood, and ends with more blood. Each drop spilled unfolds a mystery to be solved and David is in the midst of it all. The story's locale and atmosphere created a marvelous experience. The narration was splendid and was instrumental in setting the tone at every scene. Pacing kept me peeking around the corner of every chapter to guess what would happen next.
