The familiar world collapsed overnight. As the Transformation progressed, disasters occurred throughout the Earth. Materials changed their properties, new species of flora and fauna appeared. The Game converted our world into a huge dungeon, completely replacing the previous civilization.
However, the alien plans for Earth began to go awry from the very beginning. The conversion was less successful than expected. An ordinary young man stole the bonus for the first gaming action, depriving the invaders of their perk.
How can he manage the situation? Which of the aliens will become his ally? Which ones are his enemy? Dare they rebel against the all-powerful invaders, regain their land, and even create a new world?

The story was solid, though obviously translated. If you can get past cast changes for narration, and understand that the dialog is a bit choppy and a bit odd in English, you'll enjoy our edgy prodigy's story.
Excellent story, boring performance

some things can happen on their end that are unavoidable and the narrator is good clear to hear easy to understand.
I've just been spoiled with multiple narrator's per book or voice actors with multiple different voices for different characters that are distinct
that said starting an audio series with a narrator that puts varied voices in to play they become the "voices of the characters" what you hear when you picture the individual and going from someone with many voices to a single voice blends everything far too much
he tries to a degree to change how characters talk it's just hardly notable
I find myself missing or hearing sentences blend too much only to realize 3 different characters spoke and I have no idea when each took over
this honestly destroys the pacing and story as I find myself confused constantly wondering who just spoke
which is maddening as I typically listen to audiobooks when I'm working or preoccupied in a way that I can't sit and read
so having to devote extra focus to listening to hear the difference in characters or to keep up with what's happening so it doesn't blend it drag slows me down in other things
I find myself turning on music instead of finishing this book
the story is great the narrator is good just more suited to a single perspective story rather than a story with multiple angles and view points or starting one from the start as the pre established character voices truly hurt him here
great series. jarring change in narrator
