Sparked a marathon listen

Started listening and couldn't stop.
The characters are well developed I felt like I knew them personally after a while, and was rooting for them. Had to know what happened next. It was also nice to"read" a story where the characters strove to do what was right. I liked the pastor character the author created as he tried to help people in very real life situations. Working
together all the characters brought a harrowing situation to a happy ending.
The narration was outstanding and helped me visualize what the characters might look like and what was happening.

Fast paced and highly enjoyable!

In a not-too-distant futuristic setting, Dwain Cassady spins a tale of what society might be like if controlled by a handful of the super wealthy who have no accountability. Masterfully maintaining a few different subplots, the author keeps the listener engaged through to the end where the subplots intersect to bring the overall story of greed vs. good to a conclusion. There’s also a bit of the fantastical represented in the subplot that involves birds. I will be seeking to listen to more titles from Mr. Cassady.
