Publisher's summary

Cut class. Kick ass. Save the frigging world.

Dan fought hard to win the throne. He'll need to fight even harder to keep it.

When two armies descend upon the Wildervast, Dan must gather a barbarian horde to defend his lands, his people, and his wives. Meanwhile, an artifact of great power rekindles an ancient conflict within his own fortress. Then, as war rages within and without, the wicked, all-powerful succubus queen threatens to replace Dan's crown with a slave collar.

With staggering challenges, fiery new wives, and everything on the line, Dan the Warlord is the epic conclusion of the Gold, Girls, and Glory series.

Warning: Dan the Warlord is an over-the-top adventure novel intended for listeners 18 and older. It includes explicit sex, graphic violence, a harem of gorgeous ass-kicking girls, an extremely evil artifact, horny monster girls, a horde of foul-mouthed barbarians, and a succubus queen bent on making Dan her pet. Listen at your own risk.

Wonderful conclusion to a fantastic series

This book has it all and wraps up the series in a very satifying way.

Solid Conclusion

This one felt a bit rushed but was still a very satisfying conclusion to the series. If this genre combination is your interest, this series is recommended.

Felt that is was rushed but not bad

The story itself wasn’t to bad. My true gripe with this book was that it pulled a deus ex mac. Which I guess can be expected in a series like this. But I did enjoy the fourth wall break towards the end of the book.

Gold,Girls and Glory

i liked it a lot and i hope there are more books in the series. Hondo has done an amazing job building characters that are likable, dynamic and a whole lot of crazy. I definitely recommend this author and plan to read whatever he puts out. Andrea Parsneau once again does a fantastic job with the narration.

Great story

The ending makes the story. This ending left me wanting more, but not in a bad way. The ending wrapped everything up and left me happy, truly happy with how everything went and the journey to get there. I can honestly say that if this is where the story stops I'm happy, but would love more.

Good times come to the end

Solid finish to a goofy, lusty adventure of a Barbarian enjoying the fruits of his labor and finally finishing his insane travels. I enjoyed it for what it is...and if you made it this far, you know what it is.

awesome

this is the kind of book series where the fact that there are sex scenes and all that doesn't really matter. sure it adds to the world and adds to the mentality that the author is trying to get across but they could be removed in the story would still be good. I like that because a lot of books that are like this where they at in random sex scenes, they feel so hollow an empty when it comes to the story itself. it's almost as though they use those scenes to sell the books and spend all of their creative energy on that.

the difference is that with these books they are written so well. they also have had a fairly quick turn around rate for the Nextbook which is great too because then you don't have to wait too long for the next one comparatively speaking.

I don't really know what else to say when it comes to reviewing the book but I can say that if anyone is reading this and they are a fan of tabletop gaming they will enjoy this type of book because this story reminds me of how I used to play with my friends in the type of stories that we would come across. it would be far less sex and no real harems to speak of but I love the story of going from some average everyday guy to this big awesome badassbut it's not like it was just handed to them. they still had to work their way up. it was just that magic gave them the opportunity to be something more.
