Disgusting and Fantastic

I am a diehard Chuck Palahniuk fan and this book did not disappoint. It’s graphic, gross, and fantastically written

Great voice acting. Deliciously bizarre story.

If you like Palahniuk, you'll like this. It's gross and weird and heart warming. The reader, Sophie Amoss, was the cherry on top.

Unbelievable Pronunciation Errors

The sheer volume of pronunciation errors took away any enjoyment to be had from this otherwise engaging book. It’s almost like they were done intentionally since there were so many and many of the words were relatively common. It was very disappointing.

Love the narration

I liked the story. This author is always so creative but the narrator made it so entertaining and deserves a lot of credit.

13-Year-Old in Hell

The plot seemed interesting but it was so strange. “Hey Satan, it’s me, Madison.” You never escape this sentence. It is as the beginning of every chapter. And I have never hated my name more! 😅

Ok so the story’s Madison is a deceased 13-year old, but she didn’t have a traditional upbringing… she was exposed to drugs and sexual actions at a young age, and her parents were oblivious celebrity hippies! While that is not always a bad thing, it also exposed her to bad people.

Madison is in Hell, literally, due to her actions in life. You go on a journey with her and a crew reminiscent of “The Breakfast Club” and are supposed to feel a connection throughout different parts of Hell.

Well, hell, I didn’t connect but some parts were fun to read but also some parts just felt too perverted (almost). I couldn’t get past some things which leads me to this rating.
