Another Great Addition to the Series!

This is the sixth book in the The Happily Everlasting Series. The stories in the series are standalone, and interconnected. Marcy and Nicholas’s story is funny, entertaining, and intriguing. I liked the twists and turns, the mystery, and the romance. The supporting characters are great. Aunt Polly is a fantastic character! This is a great magical cozy mystery. BJ Harrison did an excellent job with the narration. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Love it!!

Is it wrong to say that I want to move to Everlasting Maine?!? I absolutely love this series and this town! I love BJ Harrison’s narration! Marcy is seriously cursed.. in love.. bad boyfriend after bad boyfriend. Until she meets Nicholas, hopefully he can help her! I can’t wait to read more of this series!

Cute

I really enjoyed this audiobook the curse was terrible I’d hate to have that on me and for so long I really liked nick and I’m happy that things turned out well and I liked all the quirky people in town and codes for supernatural happenings

Wonderful characters

Absolutely loved this. There was just the right mix of humor, angst and mystery. I loved all the characters but Aunt Polly is the most memorable and lovable character. The narration was on point. If you’re looking for a easy, entertaining quick read this is what you’re looking for.

Cute

This is such a cute, cozy paranormal mystery. I had so much fun listening to this audiobook. It was an engaging story with mystery, romance, humor, danger and so much more. Mercy has an interesting curse that has stuck for a while. Inreally loved the secondary characters of this story.

Liked it

Entertaining story with likable characters. The paranormal romantic mystery kept my wayward attention engaged. The narrator did a good job with providing unique voices for each character and appropriate tone inflections for each scene. Loved It!

I loved this book. Great world building and wonderful characters. The story was interesting from the start and I was completely fascinated by Marcy's curse. I've read about countless cursed characters in books- the majority of said curses relatively different- but I found this one completely unique. Michelle definitely has a gift for creating magical worlds, and she really thought the specifics of this curse through. There's such a deviousness to what it does, and I was dying to learn how it started, who cursed her, and why. I also loved the supporting characters. Aunt Polly was absolutely awesome, and I would kill to hang out with that witch!

I've read and/or listened to Michelle's books about mermen, alien shifters, and Scottish warlocks, but a mystery romance with literal magic was new for me and I loved it. I definitely want to go back and read more in this series.

This was also my first time listening to B.J. Harrison. I thought he did a wonderful job bringing these characters to life. There was an almost soothing quality to his voice and his narration was well-paced. I hope to listen to him again.

A good cozy story

I have found myself devouring cozy mysteries recently. Having listened to a couple of books by Michelle M Pillow and narrator B.J. Harrison I was looking forward to Curses & Cupcakes.

I found the story and narration entertaining
and easy to listen too. The voices were engaging and certainly brought the story to life.

Marcy Lewis managed the Witch's Brew Coffee Shop and Bakery (such a great name for a coffee shop).

She knows she is cursed so trying to date is a nightmare. However the newest addition to Everlasting, firefighter, Nicholas Logan is intrigued by Marcy.

When danger rears it’s head, it looks as though Marcy is the one in danger. Nicholas and Marcy join forces to investigate. What follows is a story filled with romance, mystery, humour, secrets and danger, with enough clues to keep you guessing.

Loved it, good plot, characters and performance. Highly recommend any of Jana DeLeon books. Perfect

Cozy paranormal mystery

Curses and Cupcakes by Michelle M. Pillow is an excellent cozy paranormal cozy mystery. B. J. Harrison did an incredible job with the narration. Curses and Cupcakes is the sixth book in The Happily Everlasting series. In Everlasting, Maine where normal is abnormal and the paranormal is normal. Marcy Lewis is cursed but she may be in more danger of someone than cursed. Nicholas is a new firefighter in town. They team up after a string of odd fires started popping up in the town. Can they find out who or what is behind the fire and why they’re being done? Can Marcy figure out what the curse is or is it really a curse?
