Publisher's Summary

In a world full of strife, two wolves find solace in each other.

Ben was wounded in the heat of battle, now considered by society to be just another injured veteran werewolf. He’s loved, lost, and decided it isn’t worth the trouble. In a world where shifters die just because of the blood in their veins, what’s the point in committing? You just risk losing yourself.

James is a kept omega, hidden away by his family until his breeding date. Soft and supple, James knows his intended mate-to-be will probably break him all to pieces. But isn’t that what omegas are for?

Everything changes when James loses all he knows in an attack, leaving him the sole heir to the family fortune. Uncomfortable with his new responsibilities, he hires a bodyguard who ends up being so much more.

Cuffing Season is a stand-alone audiobook, the second in the Season Of Love series. It’s rich, gay, mpreg, shifter plot will have you begging for more. Only happily ever after endings and never any cheating! Adults only!

The Butterfly Effect Hits

While each character had his own demons and baggage to deal with, the author skillfully wound those single events into a greater whole.

The story uses components of PTSD, separation and segregation, as well as familial dysfunction to shape the characters and further the plot.

An injured soldier returns from service trying to find his place in the civilian world. A wealthy omega, betrothed in infancy, trying to assert his independence. They have no idea that their random meeting is the catalyst that changes their world.

Narrator Dave Drew Hull has a deep, growly voice that helps immerse the reader/listener into the realm of shifters. It's easy to believe in take charge alphas with just his tone of voice.

Always love Liam Kingsley books....

This one is no exception. Two lonely wolves find love. An alpha destined to be alone and an omega fearful of all alphas. I enjoyed the character development, story line, and narrator.

enjoyed it

Did the story keep me engaged: reasonably
Were there any parts I found annoying: no
Did I feel an emotional connection to the characters: yes
Would I listen to it again: yes

I enjoyed Ben and Jame's story and the work they had to do to learn to trust themselves and each other. The story travels along at a reasonable pace and is well developed with interesting characters.

Dave Drew Hull is a new narrator for me, and his voice suits 'shifter' characters, The narration was smooth and evenly paced but there were times where it felt like it needed more tension and stronger intonations. Overall though, an enjoyable audio experience.

Liam Kingsley’s writing is just as good spoken aloud

I really enjoy reading his books so having them in my ear while working around the house is just as fun. I love having some of my favorites come to life.

Loved it!

Another awesome book! The narrator takes a little getting use to but he's good. This is a series I will enjoy listening to many times. I hope there will be more in the series!

loved it

I thoroughly loved this book. the characters are so real I could picture in my mind what was happening. Especially the way the alpha treated the Omega with the patience and care needed. That's rare in any world.

Yay! Another Liam Kingsley!

I really enjoyed listening to this book. The story does refer to events in the previous book in the series, but enough information is included with the story. The Omega and the Alpha are both damaged in their own ways. The coping mechanisms they use lead to interesting bedroom scenes.
Will be listening again.
Dave's performance was smooth and easy to follow along with.
Full disclosure I won a copy of this recording and give my opinion freely and without influence.

Narrator's voice sounds exactly like I expected

I really enjoy these books and the love shared between Ben and James. The Narrator's voice sounds exactly as I imaged Ben would sound. The masculine narrative adds to the whole listening experience for me. Liam Kingsley never disappoints in this genre. 5 plus stars for Cuffing Season

2nd book better. Still needs different narrator.

The second book, in my opinion so far is the best. Ben & James, two men that loved and needed each other. I liked their storyline. What I didnt like in both books, was the narration. The narrator didnt really change the characters voices, they sounded the same and with no life brought to them. The narration of both books were vapid. No disrespect to the narrator but, both books that I've listened to would have been better with a different narrator. Maybe JE. If you can get passed the vapid narration, I recommend the two books.

as good as the ebook

The story is always 4 or 5 stars, because if I wouldn't like the story as ebook, I wouldn't listen to the audiobook.

The performance from the narrator is also very important for me. I can't listen to a lot, because my English as a non-native-speaker isn't so perfect to follow a whole story over hours, when the narrator speaks too fast or too sloppy. Normally I have to SEE the person, who is talking to me in English. It took me a little bit, to come into the narrator, but at the end, it worked. I only have to take a few breaks between. I'm just not yet finish with the book, but I listen enough to give a review.

PLEASE READ MY RATING SYSTEM!!!

To my ratings:

5* - very very good
it's like an A+

4* - very good and will be often re-listening
it's like an A

3* - it's more then a one-time-listening.
it's like a B

ok

I have read alot of this authors books and listening to this one I was excited to listen to it. But as far as the story goes it was just ok. I'm picking this was one of his first books because it certainly wasnt as good as the ones I read now. As for the narrator he was good in places. overall I have given this 4 stars
