Publisher's Summary

Humor and romance mix delightfully in Katie MacAlister’s New York Times best-selling novels. In this installment of the Dark Ones series, Pia is discovering that wedded bliss with a vampire is a very elusive proposition. With her hubby not trusting her, and his best friend missing, Pia finds solace in her plain old Seattle life. But that all changes when she and Kristoff are falsely implicated in crimes against vampire-kind.

Love in vein: spend some more time with the Dark Ones.

Good conclusion

*not a stand alone*
This concludes the story from the previous book. I really like the ending for Pia and the gang. I think the story is a nice continuation. There are parts as with all book that I was like “really?” But still a good read/ listen.
Nicole Poole is great as always. A pleasure to listen to.

It was very funny and entertaining. I really en

It was a great read. I especially enjoyed the love story between Pie and Christ of. The supporting characters were hilarious as well. I would like to read about more plus sized, strong women who get the handsome leading men.

Hmmm

several annoying changes in the story, like the author maybe should have re read the prior book... otherwise it was fine.

I love it!!

I Enjoyed this book a lot because of the story about curvy women. We usually don't get to be the stars of any book so I was very happy about this book this one and the prior 1 loved the story line.

I loved it!

I thought this was a great book. I agree with the reviews on the narration. I didn't like the switch from the previous books. But it was a great story and I am absolutely in love with Katie Macalister's books....all of them!!!

The struggle was real

The plot had contradicting information from book 6. It seems like these last 2 books weren't thought out appropriately.
